“Super cool experience as we do not have a Trader Joe’s in our area. Prices are amazing as well as the selection of items.
All employees were super nice and helpful except one which is why I only gave 4 stars. However her rudeness wasn’t enough to ruin our experience, and we will definitely be back!”
“First time at this location and I'm thoroughly impressed. The layout, the selection, the friendly staff all met my expectations and then some. Thank you for the experience.”

“I really like this place, since I can buy products of Central American origin...And it's incredible... Thank you, Tienda Centroamericana, for making us a center at home..”
“Small produce market with pretty good selection of fruit and vegetables. Produce was beautiful and fresh! Prices on par and sometimes cheaper than HEB. I wouldn’t recommend getting more “exotic” fruit there as it was pretty pricey (I.e pomegranates, dragon fruit, etc). Wasn’t crowded and there was plenty of parking, even on the weekend.”
“You gotta follow them on social to stay informed. Prices are unbeatable on a lot of goods. There are items here and there that aren't much better than HEB but you're still getting a deal. Some items require you to buy large quantities. They refund if something goes past expiration, some items are close. It can be hard to find items like beef or cold cuts because they tend to go quickly. Stock changes throughout the week. Weekends are crowded. Parking can be a hassle on Saturdays.
Bottom line: this place is full of great deals but it ain't CostCo. You should bring your own bags and be prepared to put in some effort to find things. The staff are super nice but there are limits to how much they can do in a place with ever-changing inventory, especially when it's crowded and there are long lines to check out. I'm told weekdays are better, less crowded.”
“I don’t even go to Lanier, but I love their burgers! The fam that runs it are super nice too. So happy this burger joint is in my neighborhood and it’s endearing to see the kids have this spot as a hangout for them.”
“Fantastic, high-end grocery store with a small footprint and a large variety.
There are things you can find here that you can't find anywhere else in one place. Also, their coffee, tea, spices, and specialties (flours, extracts, produce) have varieties I've never seen before in SA.
They also have an amazing cafe and gelato counter inside where you can get great treats as well as made to order sandwiches with a huge variety of options (sometimes things that they made extras of in the bakery or deli aisle).”
“Brianna S. was the cashier....don't know the lady's name that bagged my groceries. They were a great team. Personable, kind and efficient. It made a huge difference for me! July 3 at 12:50 pm.”

“Love this spot! Beware — parking can be a real pain in the butt during peak hours, but otherwise, totally worth it. I come primarily to fill up my water jugs (.39/g), but the discount section is always a fun surprise to see what is on half-off.”
“My friend and I travelled to San Antonio from Canada, and this market was quite close to our hotel, so we made a few stops here during our week-long stay. I work at a grocery store, and I gotta say, this one was very nice! Not only did I shop here for myself, but I also bought some snacks to bring back home for friends. This market was great, the staff were helpful, and if and when I return to the city, I hope to stay at another hotel (or maybe the same one) just so I'm close to this market!”
“I love the selection of unique items. Unfortunately, I have a sweet ? tooth. Those Lovita Hazelnut cookies are addictive. World travelers might enjoy shopping here.”
“One of the greatest selections of foods for Middle Eastern Indian Pakistani Arabian I would highly recommend the place and across the street. They have a baklava homemade pastry shop a must visit.”
“Excellent handmade fresh flour tortilla tacos and outstanding customer service. Came to SA for quince and stopped here while son went to skatepark. Staff was very welcoming & treated us like family ?”
“About a year ago I shopped at this walmart and during check out I had a seizure. The staff was so kind to me, didn't ask a million questions just asked if I needed with my help to the car. One of their employees offered to push me in a wheel chair I was too weak to walk. My partner was really worried and he drove us home. I recovered at home, but I really want to take the time to leave a review about how special this team is. They are a big part of the community and they care about their shoppers. Thank you to everyone who works here. Great location.”
“Great prices as all commissaries! Has really good pork belly, baby back ribs. Now carries beer and wine! Only downside is the very limited fresh seafood selection but they do carry a fair amount in the frozen section.”
“The manager christina was very helpful and friendly, helped me understand the wic process being it was my 1st time. Was greeted when walked in, love this place! Produce was well stocked and lots to choose from. I give this place 10 stars if i could! Thsnks Christina for a good experience! This will be my store for sure!”
“I love coming into Whole foods and getting a custom sandwich from Natasha!!! She is always so happy and so helpful. She makes the best sandwiches. So much better than going to a local chain. The produce and meats are fresh and don't forget the chipotle mayo or sun dried tomato aioli. Come see Natasha!!”
“This is one of my favorite corner stores to go to off Rittiman. They are awesome about having a quick "in and out" capability in this store. A++ for this place!Place is always clean, Staff is very welcoming to a point where you feel like family. Always has a full stock of items from lottery-food-daily essentials-smoking accessories & more; with all products very reasonably priced ☺️A year ago the timing of employees wasnt accurate to the opening time posted on the front however that has changed to them opening punctually and staying open until the very last minute possible.Again... A++ to Billies Food Mart on Rittiman Rd!!”
“As much as I love this HEB, recently I noticed something that has been happening too often now. A few weeks back one of my shampoo bottles never made it back into my cart, although it had been scanned, and this time, the person in front of me’s bottle of hair product ended up in one of my bags. In general the employees here are very friendly, but it still kinda sucks when this happens because these bottles are like 10 bucks each”
“Beer prices are varied, Here at Randall. Our Budweiser and Bud Light comes to $2.70 with taxes while Nearby stores like King 21 and Prince are $3.00 flat. 12, 18 and 20, packs at Randall are about $3.00 dollars cheaper. than most gas stations. about the same price as HEB.”
“Place looks smaller on the outside but it’s really good size inside. Has everything you need and with friendly workers to help. Place was clean and organized. Parking is good and easy to get to.”
“This place is an amazing coffee shop...with wine available. One of my favorite new coffee shops in the Pearl. It is located inside of Emma Hotel. There is plenty of outdoors sitting. Not too busy so it is a great place to meet for business, or just a moment for yourself.”
“Nice place just felt uncomfortable being watched and followed by the staff. Never offered to help me find something just watched my every move. Doesnt feel like I am welcome there”

“Some of the best korean food you can find in San Antonio. The woman who is usually working can be pretty rude and off putting. Almost makes it not worth coming here but it’s an inner battle because the food is that good.”
“Ok, so I'm from out of state, and we don't have grocery stores like this where I'm from. My biggest praise for HEB is that their sushi rolls are insanely good. Like, how does a grocery store offer some of the best sushi I've ever had?! Amazing.
Also, HEB's brands are better than the competitors, and cheaper to boot. I'm sold, HEB is the best.”
“These are my go to prenatal vitamins I did a lot of research trying to find the best prenatal vitamin to take. And It led me to these at Whole Foods they have 120 tablets and you take two per day the bottle cost $75 but it is really worth it the best for my little baby!!”
“Very clean and organized but is one of the smaller stores and doesn't have a large arts & crafts section. However, the employees are always helpful and professional.”
“Always clean, well organized and the cashier's and manager are awesome. Almost a daily lunch routine for me....thank you for keeping hydrated and fed through the summer.”
