Bakery is kind of small but it's a small HEB so it's understandable. “Obviously the price for gas here is way better. And I don't know how I feel about the one way thing. I think I'm more for it than against it. I mean it is nice to not have to back up and go around or find myself driving in circles looking for a place to pump. I just simply have to wait in line and knowing that the cars in front of me will simply pull out going the same way. The only thing that I don't like is when I get out and realize my gas tank is on the other side. I mean personally I prefer it to be on the driver side cuz getting out and walking all the way around when I'm paying with card is a little annoying. That's just me being lazy. But regardless when that happens here I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who gets the pump and stretches it across the back of my car to reach the tank. Lol”

“H‑E‑B Fuel has made strides in upgrading their pumps to offer a more modern and efficient fueling experience. However, during my recent visit, I encountered a notable drawback: the lack of sufficient lighting on the updated pumps.
While the enhancements to the pumps themselves were noticeable, the absence of proper illumination made the fueling process less convenient, especially during evening hours or in low-light conditions.
Navigating the pump interface and reading important information became a challenge, potentially leading to inconvenience and frustration for customers.
Despite this setback, H‑E‑B Fuel continues to provide quality fuel and convenient service, and with some adjustments to the lighting, they could further elevate the customer experience.”

“Absolutely five stars for the Lincoln Heights Market H‑E‑B in San Antonio! I was told by several friends that H‑E‑B was a must-visit if I was in the area, and I can confidently say it did not disappoint. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how clean, organized, and well-stocked the store was. The layout is intuitive, the aisles are spacious, and everything is clearly labeled, making it easy to find exactly what you need — and a few things you didn’t know you needed!
Let’s talk about the produce department — incredible. Everything was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully displayed. You can tell they take pride in offering top-quality fruits and vegetables. The meat department, though, was truly next-level. The selection was expansive and well-curated, with knowledgeable staff ready to offer suggestions and answer any questions. I picked up some steaks that were absolutely perfect — fresh, well-marbled, and reasonably priced.
One of the absolute highlights? The H‑E‑B butter tortillas. I’d heard people rave about them, and now I get it. Warm, soft, buttery perfection. Honestly, I could eat them straight out of the bag (and I did). They’re a must-buy if you visit.

Where do I begin? Sam's Club on Military Drive is like the Costco of dreams. If you’ve ever wanted to buy 400 rolls of toilet paper in one go and have your entire family set for a lifetime, this is your mecca. It's bulk shopping at its finest. Need 10 gallons of ketchup? They’ve got you covered. You can’t go wrong with a place where you can leave with a 55-inch TV, a gallon of pickles, and a kayak. It's like the supermarket equivalent of a treasure hunt, except every "treasure" is something you’ll use until your great-grandchildren inherit it.
Compared to its rivals (Costco, BJ’s), Sam's Club on Military Drive stands out for its clean aisles, courteous staff, and sheer sense of adventure. I’ve never felt more like I was on a secret mission—sneaking around with a cart that looks like a small spaceship, filled with bulk items and snacks I never knew I needed.
And don’t even get me started on the samples. Forget gourmet dining, I had a three-course meal of mini-pizza slices, chicken nuggets, and a protein bar. Now that's a balanced diet, my friends.
Sam’s Club isn’t just a shopping experience; it’s an event. The prices are so low, your wallet will think it's on vacation. Highly recommend for those who want to stock up on everything from hand sanitizer to giant bags of trail mix and maybe even find a few things you didn’t know you needed in the process. A+ would shop again—and possibly purchase 10 18 packs of Natural Light while I'm at it.”

As I was walking down the aisles I saw more sales and I just had to grab now this was a steal 1.49 you can not beat this for a 12 pack so took 2 of each. Love my H‑E‑B.”
“I come to this HEB about 2 to 3 times each week. Today is the first time I've had the most unwelcoming service from the cashier, Michael. Minus 1 star. Other than that this location offers decent selection, not as much as other locations.”
“I came for some bread & left with a lot more than just...bread. *wink If I had to describe Central Market, I could do it in 3 words. This is the UPSCALE TRADER JOES. Maybe even Whole Foods on some level. Don't expect this to meet your expectations for your local HEB. It won't. That said, it's a classier, far more expensive supermarket...but the variety is OH MY GOD. Like other reviewers have stated, if you are looking for that ONE ingredient that seems impossible to find, you have a darn good chance at finding it here. Walking through the aisles, I could tell that Central Market carries QUALITY ingredients. There was many different "areas" depending on what you are looking for which made it easier to get what you need, but it was still nice to roam. We mainly came for their SOURDOUGH bread but unfortunately we didn't get the plain one. I LOVE that I finally found a place that carries ELLENOS yogurt (Marionberry is the best flavor, imo)...and I'll be back even if it's just for this particular item. All in all, I could spend a good two hours going from place to place in this market.”
“When Ive spoken to the techs behind the counter they are very cordial and with a “How may I help you” genuine demeanor moreover the Pharmacists is very knowledgeable and polite.
As far as price wise on meds goes, Well they are competitive to the big chain pharmacies and (in my case) they are cheaper. Plus offer free delivery!!!
Now this is only the second time I’ve used them, we will see how they perform in future transactions.
Ohhh , I only have a couple of concerns:
1) they will not take discount cards like::The Good RX discount cards.
2) The Galaxy pharmacies do not have their own discount cards like HEB does.
But apart from those couple of gripes.

“The staff and pharmacists are wonderful but OVERWORKED. CVS CORP is hanging them out to dry by piling more work on them with less staff. I tried to contact CVS corporate to find out why but impossible to get a hold of the shirts at corporate who make there decisions”
