“I’m an older lady so I requested the delivery person call when he was dropping off my medication so I could go out and pick it up. Damien not only called, he remained outside my door and handed the medication to me. Going above and beyond what was asked. Thank you for putting customer service above speed. You don’t find that kind of consideration in this day and age.”
“A decent sized HEB with everything one could need. Nice cut to order meat market along the back wall is a real plus. Their fresh fruits and vegetables sections offer a wider selection than I've seen at other HEBs. Customer service is friendly and helpful. Parking is plentiful. The only gripe I've got is that the parking lot nearest the entrance is uphill when leaving the store and with groceries can be a bit hard if dealing with a mobility issue. There are handicap parking spaces very close to the entrance (and not uphill) if you're fortunate enough to get one. Overall, a great store.”

“I have been to this heb serval times & used the curbside pick up multiple times & always had a great experience but today Ms.janet did amazing she was so kind & sweet even went as far as to ask me I prefered my eggs in the front or if trunk was okay before she left she asked if my trunk had closed properly before sending me off she was amazing & her attention to detail was so sweet”
“Obviously the price for gas here is way better. And I don't know how I feel about the one way thing. I think I'm more for it than against it. I mean it is nice to not have to back up and go around or find myself driving in circles looking for a place to pump. I just simply have to wait in line and knowing that the cars in front of me will simply pull out going the same way. The only thing that I don't like is when I get out and realize my gas tank is on the other side. I mean personally I prefer it to be on the driver side cuz getting out and walking all the way around when I'm paying with card is a little annoying. That's just me being lazy. But regardless when that happens here I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who gets the pump and stretches it across the back of my car to reach the tank. Lol”
“I went to HEB today to pick up my medication and I had to wait so I went to check out the sparkling water because I have been wanting to try one. As I was looking a store manager asked if he could help me. I told him I was going to get the individual Cascade drinks before I purchased a case and he asked which did I want to try. He grabbed the two I wanted and he took them to the cashier and said to give them to me free. Taht was amazing. He was so nice I wish I knew his name. They are always so helpful. I have never had a bad experience. I’m so happy it’s my neighborhood store!”

“The Managers, Clinton and Becca, helped me out with an issue I had with a purchase I made a couple of weeks ago. They was super friendly and very understanding. They really didn't have to help me, but they did. This HEB is super close to my work. I usually shop at the one in Alamo Heights, but this one is really convenient for stops during and after work. The area is a little sketchy, but the staff and security are always present and attentive. Great management and great employees!”

She’s knowledgeable, dependable, and has made a noticeable difference in how smoothly the pharmacy runs. Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a huge plus, and they also offer FedEx services, which is incredibly convenient.

I was told by several friends that H‑E‑B was a must-visit if I was in the area, and I can confidently say it did not disappoint. Let’s talk about the produce department — incredible. Everything was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully displayed. You can tell they take pride in offering top-quality fruits and vegetables. The meat department, though, was truly next-level. The selection was expansive and well-curated, with knowledgeable staff ready to offer suggestions and answer any questions. I picked up some steaks that were absolutely perfect — fresh, well-marbled, and reasonably priced.
One of the absolute highlights? The H‑E‑B butter tortillas. I’d heard people rave about them, and now I get it. Warm, soft, buttery perfection. Honestly, I could eat them straight out of the bag (and I did). They’re a must-buy if you visit.
Every staff member I encountered was friendly, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to be there, which adds to the positive shopping experience. This H‑E‑B has everything you could want from a grocery store — quality, selection, service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I’ll absolutely be back, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the San Antonio area.”

Where do I begin? Sam's Club on Military Drive is like the Costco of dreams. If you’ve ever wanted to buy 400 rolls of toilet paper in one go and have your entire family set for a lifetime, this is your mecca. It's bulk shopping at its finest. Need 10 gallons of ketchup? They’ve got you covered. You can’t go wrong with a place where you can leave with a 55-inch TV, a gallon of pickles, and a kayak. It's like the supermarket equivalent of a treasure hunt, except every "treasure" is something you’ll use until your great-grandchildren inherit it.
Compared to its rivals (Costco, BJ’s), Sam's Club on Military Drive stands out for its clean aisles, courteous staff, and sheer sense of adventure. I’ve never felt more like I was on a secret mission—sneaking around with a cart that looks like a small spaceship, filled with bulk items and snacks I never knew I needed.
And don’t even get me started on the samples. Forget gourmet dining, I had a three-course meal of mini-pizza slices, chicken nuggets, and a protein bar. Now that's a balanced diet, my friends.
Sam’s Club isn’t just a shopping experience; it’s an event. The prices are so low, your wallet will think it's on vacation. Highly recommend for those who want to stock up on everything from hand sanitizer to giant bags of trail mix and maybe even find a few things you didn’t know you needed in the process. A+ would shop again—and possibly purchase 10 18 packs of Natural Light while I'm at it.”
“I come to this HEB about 2 to 3 times each week. Today is the first time I've had the most unwelcoming service from the cashier, Michael. Minus 1 star. Other than that this location offers decent selection, not as much as other locations.”
“I ordered to have my prescriptions delivered for free. They told me it would be about six hour wait but the delivery driver showed up about 3 1/2 hours after I called them. They're pretty quick and efficient once you receive the prescriptions you sign your signature on to his cell phone and then they leave. It's very convenient.I highly recommend using H-E-B prescription pharmacy delivery, it's great for those that are senior citizens or who is sick and can't get out of the house”

“I'm so glad they're open on Saturdays! They also offer convenient nearby kiosks for after-hours prescription pickup. Simply scan your ID, follow the prompts, and the locker containing your medication lights up and unlocks automatically—how cool is that?
Although Randolph is closer to me, the weekend hours and after-hours kiosks make the extra drive well worth it, especially when it's difficult to pick up prescriptions after work during the week.”
