I couldn’t be happier with their customer service or their Made in America holsters.”

“If you ever visit or come for a purchase, ask for Mark. He was super knowledgeable and insightful when it comes to fire arms and ammunition. He literally gave me and my friend a break down on components and unloaded a bunch of knowledge on us.
They also have phenomenal customer service for being a gun store (take notes RDS!) For some odd reason, must gun owners I’ve come across come off as unnecessarily hostile but I’m glad to see there’s still folks out there who don’t mind educating people new to guns. Thanks again Mark!”

The Store needs a revamp,more modern take on a Champs Since it feels souless,almost makes you wanna run out on how plain the walls are.
Also didnt think there was a champs out there in mcallen due to the Store Logo being old and hard to see.”

“Very unprofessional staff. Was left on hold for almost 15 minutes and never got an answer on my online order. Store associate said they never received my order and placed me on hold again to check their computer. Associate never picked up while I as on hold. I called them again to try to see the status of my order and they never picked up the phone afterwards anymore. This is my first time shopping in this store and will be my last.UPDATE: Second associate that answered was professional and very helpful. He had my order ready within 3 minutes of calling!!!”

“Great place for kids to play soccer. But must bring your own chairs. Limited seating. Plus parking is pretty bad too. Bathrooms in a building pretty far away from field. All in all it's safe place for families.”
“This Academy is a very clean and organized store. We visited all 3 Academys here in the Mcallen area, and this is by far the best one. Great instock, clean restrooms. When we were checking out, a young man called us over to his register. He was very friendly and represented what the retail environment needed. Friendly and engaging. I wish I would've have gotten his name but missed it.”
“Friendly folks, and fast loading. 53 footers and guys with bad turning radius consider turning right onto N Johnson and offsetting into the driveway. Its a million times easier to dock site-side than blind-side.”

The store truly is huge and will have essentially anything you're looking for within a reasonable scope.
