“My truck broke down, so my company set me up with this hotel. Originally was going to be for one night but end up staying more than a week. I have to say the rooms were very clean. The Mexican lady that does the cleaning on the second floor was outstanding & kept my room always very clean ?. Also the Mexican lady at the front desk her name is Sandra, whe was always very courteous, friendly & attentive ?.Will highly recommend!!!Rooms: Very well cleaned.”

“So impressed with this location. It’s the perfect halfway stop for us every time. The staff is always so incredibly friendly. The rooms are clean and welcoming. The beds are so comfortable! We love the free continental breakfast in the mornings so we don’t have to think as we drive on. Definitely would stay here again and again. “Came here when traveling to and from Arizona and I have no complaints whatsoever. Chad checked us in and was super friendly, professional, and helpful! Breakfast was tasty, and I liked the small market they have with snacks and toiletries. I will definitely stay here if I travel through here, no doubt. Great hotel.”

“We haven't been pleased with Motel 6 in the past so avoided. We stayed overnight at this Motel 6on our way to Arizona. We have 2 cats that we inherited and knew Motel 6 is pet friendly so we thought we would give it a try. We were not disappointed! The staff was very friendly. We were given a room on first floor which made it very easy to bring pets and luggage into the room. Room was very clean and modern. Can't complain about a thing. We will come back to this Motel 6 in the future.Rooms: Room was very clean. Love the wood like floors. Beats dirty old carpet floors. Every Hotel/Motel should have them. Great job renovating!”

“the staff here is amazing! Emily and Maddie are some of the kindest, professional and fun people we encountered the whole trip! they were extremely helpful when we had an issue with some guests being incredibly loud. they were so gracious and kind with my 4 year old! the pool was pretty cold so we couldn't swim which was a bummer but other than that this place is absolutely amazing. the staff is beyond perfection, breakfast is good and it's very very clean!”

“We appreciate that there is no extra fee for pets!(We are responsible pet owners: our dog is house trained and we bring him with us when we leave the room)The room was clean, beds are firm, wifi works, the heater, micro, and fridge all work.The area is quiet.The location is close to great restaurants.My only suggestion for improvement: we were in an ADA room and the bathroom didn't have any rails installed on the wall. I'd highly recommend that this be done.”

“I've been a regular Holiday Inn customer for decades. This place is clean, conveniently located, and well-run. The rooms possibly need a bit of an update but everything worked and was fully functional. The breakfast was great as usual. I ran into a bit of a problem with the reservation but Brandy the manager was understanding and took care of it promptly.”

“There is plenty of parking, great lighting and the hotel is in a great location... easy freeway entry and exit as well as easy drives to food and entertainment.Rooms are clean, and the bedding, towels, and supplies are great. Some of the bathroom fixtures, such as the tub, floor, floorboards, and the walls, may need to be touched up or replaced. Even with that, it seems they do a fantastic job to keep things at their best.The ladies at the front are also great! The service is perfect.I'll be back.”

“This hotel is very clean, the ladies that run the office are very sweet and helpful the breakfast is much better than most hotels this morning I had eggs sausage and biscuits and gravy some toast coffee and juice there was some other stuff available as well like yogurt muffins cereal Etc our company will definitely be back. We had a slight problem with a reservation and some miscommunication, and the owner was Swift to take care of our problems. I would recommend this Super 8.”

Staybridge Suites in Amarillo is an amazing place to stay at if you need a place to get away or you are just passing through. The rooms are amazing! The complimentary breakfast was excellent and the staff are the friendliest on earth. I highly recommend this place. It's the tops!”

“If you want to spend double and go pay for pretty, have at it. I for one am not about to gripe about the bargain stop I found and waste money elsewhere, so contractors, listen up. First, their staff, they know who they are, were tremendously helpful, to the point I have to call back to inquire an item and with pause they went to go and see if it could e collected. Also, the bed, my goodness, the bed; it was incredible. Don't let the dated sheets fool you, the bed was unbelievably comfortable and the sheets and pillows, very plush. I travel b/w CO and TX all the time and it takes me through Amarillo and I will never again spend the $100 it usually takes to get a great nights sleep. And, they do appear to have a nice outdoor pool but it appeared closed for the season. I'll be trying it out in the summer. Thanks again for the great, and soon to be repeated stay to The Executive Inn and Billie, respectively!”

“They've done a lot to face lift this old travel lodge you would hardly know what it used to be. Everything during our stay was clean and worked the free breakfast was exactly what you would expect for free and the price point came in relatively low. The highlight was LOGAN he made the experience 5 stars. He was most welcoming even at 2am and made us feel super comfortable from the very start. I feel like he had about 6 jobs. Thanks Logan.”

“I am not calling The Big Texan a 5 star hotel-i am saying my experience and purchase was top notch and getting the best rating by me.1) great location for cross country stop.(easy off and easy on to route)2) cute little hotel front3) standing room in shower-huge bonus to me(6'1") AND plenty of shower pressure.4) Keurig coffee maker-not the single fill but the kitchen classic-5 cup tank on side.5) plenty of Keurig k-cups in room. 3 regular, a few decaf n teas. And a little coffee mess for sugars/creams. But multiple cups of regular in room is pretty rare these days.6) txt communication with responsive concierge(?) Including a message with key code for straight room entrance.Great stay for the dollar.”
