“On a recent trip from St. Louis, MO to Prescott Valley, AZ to visit my brother I experienced not one but two blow outs on my Airstream travel trailer in the span of 120 miles. The second occurred just West of Amarillo, TX on I40.
At that point, having blown two tires, with no spare and 700 miles to go I decided that I needed to replace all 4 tires and the spare, but where?
A brief internet search pointed me to Forrest Tire Company in Amarillo just 11 miles East. I called and spoke to Logan who informed me that they could do the job, had 5 tires available and would be able to start shortly after I arrived.
I limped down I40 on my tandem axle trailer the 11 miles to Forrest Tire Company and had a short discussion with Logan and then their crew got to work. I arrived around 11AM and was back on the road by 12:30PM.
I can’t say enough about the service, reasonable price and professionalism of their staff. They literally saved my vacation and I was so pleased with the service that I gave each of the 3“NASCAR” crew members a tip and would give the company my highest recommendation!”
“Gil service on Amarillo Boulevard is friendly and caring. They have never given me any reason to not go there. The one on Western is very unfriendly and as a manager western and his helpers they say doing balancing tires they don’t make money so waste their time so that’s why I go to Emerald Boulevard and get my server done by them thank you”

“We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Discount Tire in Amarillo. We were traveling back to Fort Worth when we blew a tire on our trailer somewhere between Dumas and Amarillo. I called ahead and they let me know they had a tire available for us. Not long after that, we blew another tire. At that point, with quite a ways still left to go, we decided it made more sense to replace all of the trailer tires rather than risk another one.
I called them back, and they immediately went to work figuring out how to take care of us. They went to another location to pick up the additional tires we needed, brought them back, and even stayed a little past closing time to make sure we were taken care of and could safely get back on the road.
When we showed up, the staff was ready for us. We went into the waiting room, they offered us water while we waited, and they had us back on the road surprisingly quickly considering everything they had done to accommodate us.
As great as the service was, the staff was honestly the best part of the experience. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the camaraderie between the employees was genuinely nice to see. You could tell they enjoyed working together and took pride in taking care of their customers.
We couldn't have asked for a better experience, especially after what had already been a stressful trip. Highly recommend this Discount Tire location and the entire team there!”

“I broke down 90 miles away from Top Gun (live in Houston). I was pretty much at anybody's mercy and could've been another victim of highway robbery. “Excellent service! Got a flat tire in the middle of a road trip so we came here to replace 4 tires. Our appointment was for 8:15am, we were waiting outside at 7:50 for them to open and we were checked in by 7:59. All four tires were changed by 8:20. Never have I experienced this amazing of service before anywhere else. We had talked to Nikki, and he was very kind and helpful. “During a flat repair, one of my tires ended up with sidewall damage caused by the Discount Tire. Due to how tread depth tolerances work on my AWD car, a single replacement wasn't enough; it had to be both tires to be done correctly. It took time and persistence to get there, but Michael and his manager Adam owned the mistake and replaced both tires at no cost. I appreciate that they stood behind their work and made it right in the end. Would go back.”

Thankfully, Discount Tire at 5820 Coulter St S, Armarillo, TX 79119 repaired , and did a tire rotation all for free. I purchased windshield wipers, They did an excellent job, you can see a little triangle. Other than that, friendly staffs, will definitely come back here.”
