“A hidden gem. Not a great atmosphere, but if you dig through the stuff you can find some good deals. It's hit or miss on the clothing , but you can always find good fragrances for cheap.”

“Dollar General is shockingly solid at this location. Despite the usual chaos orbiting a store that sells snacks, tools, and regret in one aisle, the employees are genuinely friendly, competent, and unfazed. Strong Waffle House energy in the best way. Polite, helpful, and clearly capable of shutting down nonsense without drama. Shelves are stocked, service is fast, and you somehow feel safer than expected buying paper towels at night.”

“There are two ladies that have the best customer service in the world!!! Rose and the other young lady that worked on Sat 9/30/23 the morning shift. I have never experienced such a pleasant experience in any other dollar general, I live closer to a different one, but from yesterday going forward I will only go to that one off New York and park row . I did get the ladies name , but unfortunately I can’t find it now. I hope the general manager sees this and knows those two young ladies makes that store worth the gas and time just driving there. A big thank you to the two employees that worked Saturday morning 9/30/23 around 11 am???”

“I spent $87 yesterday at this location which is 22 miles from my home. I went back the next day, forgot my receipt but told the nice cashier what was missing from my purchase. She made a note for her manager of the 2 missing items (less than $8 in total value), took my name & phone number & told me to take the missing items.. i LOVE doing business with companies that trust their customers.. “While similar to TJmaxx and Ross, you'll find brands here that you won't anywhere else. Labels from big box, department and online stores at the best prices you can find. The occasional luxury items are competitive with the RealReal. Go when you have time to spend but that time is usually worth it if looking for clothes. I've had success finding good quality jeans, dressy casual and athletic; women's suit jackets are usually nice but limited. Home goods and shoes are more iffy. Before you fall in love with something check it over very well, I've seen slashed items, tench coats with missing cuff doo-dads, etc. They have changing rooms. If the signs and organization seem confusing ask a sales clerk for a quick overview, they're very nice.”
“I had to take time today when I made it home I have been telling myself the last few days to take time and let the community and DFW know this is the most cleanest Dollar General I have been to I went inside and had a talk with a new employee name Scottie he has done a tremendous job cleaning in this store even the parking lot is clean now everything is stocked now when you go inside and I also want to thank the Store Manager Porsha she is always polite and puts her customers first again this store has mad a major turn around Team work makes the Dream work thank y’all 5Star Team Sublet and 287 location.”

“Went to this store this morning and needed a certain size Sprite. They had it but I couldn't get to it for the stock carts. I asked the manager and she more or less blew me off. There's another DG right up the street. Always clean with no stocking carts. Going there from now on. Found a new DG right down the street. Guess I'll eat some crow. “This is the best Dollar General store I’ve been to. Good management and the store is clean and well stocked. It has a great neighborhood feel for this area of southwest Arlington that I’ve grown up in. Angela and Amanda know me when I walk in and are always so kind. I go here because I always feel welcome and because there are great deals and a well stocked store.”
