“This was my first time here. The food was great!!!! I had the smothered pork chop with yams and string beans. The cornbread was sweet and buttery just like I like it. I asked for a sample of the yams because everyone cannot cook them, wonderful and not too sweet... overall very enjoyable experience. I will definitely return.”

“There is only 1 restroom and with all the construction work that's going on, there is always a line. The woman's restroom is usually available, if you are a woman. Mens restroom alwaya has a line. I was told that the food inside the Exxon is pretty good.”

“I just seen the bad review from Sean as i was About to give my review i come to this gas station often and i have seen the staff change over the years the new staff they have is amazing they remember my order each time i come In they are extremely friendly sometimes it’s one person per shift and that’s okay because i always Get great service so forgive Sean for not seeing that the poor kid was working a busy night and made sure to lock up to keep the outside clean for us the customers. “One of my top 3 gas stations around town. Pay by card. No need to go in. Machines always work. May not be the cheapest gas but it's right next to where I live!!”
“Sunny's is jam-packed with liquor.. probably because it's a pretty small store. It isn't going to have everything like the largest chain in Houston, but it does have a decent selection of scotch and a whole aisle full of those "buy some liquor and we will give you some free stuff packages" that you normally see at Christmas time. The store also has a reasonable selection of cigars and cigarillos if you are looking for something like that. Pricing in terms of whether or not it's the lowest price around is mixed. I have seen some brands that are cheaper than the largest chain in town and some that were quite a bit higher so you are going to have to know your brand and the competition if you want to know if you are getting a good deal or not. Service. It's a one man operation but the owner is friendly and if you spend the right amount, he may throw in a goody, like a free shaker for making martinis and such (I have been given two so far).”

“I went to this location a few weeks ago to get gas.it was convenient for me as it was off the freeway and I really needed to get gas at that time it was urgent. It wasn't too pricey being that it was off the freeway and the staff was nice and I haven't had any problems with my gas so I would say I'm a happy camper.”
