She made an extra run for me real quick to help me troubleshoot a minor issue I caused. Definitely should be able to tip these runners as it is scorching hot out. “7/25/23- I would like to update my review. The store manager Tangela, personally reached out to me and sincerely apologized on behalf of the employee. She made me feel acknowledged and heard, which I appreciated very much. I did go back to the store with my children and Tangela made sure we had a pleasant shopping experience. She made it clear that this will not happen again to me or anyone else. I can see how much she truly values her position and this company. Thank you, Tangela.7/20/23 1star-This employee shouted at me and my 6 year old daughter when we walked into the store at 9:50 “FIVE MINUTES!!” When it in fact was not 5 mins till closing. She then proceeded to shout from across the store “WE NEED TO CLOSE!!!” After about 3 mins of us looking for what we needed. Then she followed us and continued to shout they were closed at 9:57 and that I need to hurry up. I started to record because she was scaring my daughter and making her extremely nervous and to also show how she was acting towards a customer that just needed to pop in for a quick snack and baby diapers. On my video you can hear her phone alarm go off at 10pm when I was already checking out at the register. I’d like to warn others about how this store treats their customers and how their core values mean absolutely nothing to them. This rude, and disrespectful woman should be ashamed of herself. What’s even worse is that this isn’t the first time this same woman has acted with disgust with her job. She always has an attitude anytime I’ve visited this establishment. Shame on this store for continuing to allow her to work here.”
“So here at this location we get ice, tacos and drinks. Tacos are amazing and the ladies that make them there are also amazing. The man their name David knows everything about the tacos.”
“Absolutely gorgeous little market out in Castroville. They have put together a lot of local produce, meats and food products from local producers. Did I mention they have a 5lb apple pie? Yes a huge bulging apple pie made with 5 lbs of apples. Worth a stop and supporting this amazing market.”

“Got some all meat barbacoa this morning and thoroughly enjoyed it. Enjoyed it enough that we went back in the afternoon to grab steaks and we thoroughly enjoyed those too. Service was great, prices were good, and quality was fantastic. No complaints here just one satisfied customer. Definitely recommend that others go too.”

“I want to take a moment to recognize Destiny, a pharmacy tech at H-E-B, who truly went above and beyond for me. I had been dealing with a frustrating situation for over a week that involved a lot of back and forth between the pharmacy and my doctor’s office, with no real progress. Destiny took it upon herself to step in, advocate for me, and make sure everything was handled correctly. Thanks to her dedication, patience, and persistence, I was finally able to get the medication I needed. She was truly a blessing during a stressful time, and I am incredibly thankful for her kindness and exceptional customer service.

“Lunch was delicious! I loved the additional grilled onions & grilled jalapeno the mini tacos came with! W/ lime & their green sauce, it was absolute delicious! The stuffed burtito & salad w/ meat were definitely great as well. Customer service was exvellent. Our waitress was attentive & really nice. I definitely recommend stopping by if you are in the area.”
