Allens Boots is a landmark on South Congress and an integral part of Austin. It offers a fantastic and impressive selection of western apparel, including every kind of cowboy and cowgirl boot, hats, and clothing from classic western brands. The boots are beautiful, with a lot of workmanship involved, and while many are not cheap, reasonably priced options and special deals can be found. The staff is friendly, helpful, and provides great service. It is a good place for a special souvenir or to simply enjoy the smell of leather.
Beautiful craftsmanship and style. Loved most of them. Hats are wonderful too. Everything is pricey.

If you want a special, albeit expensive, souvenir from a trip to Texas, Allen’s definitely has what you’re looking for! Impressive selection of western apparel including boots, hats, and clothing from the classic western brands. Their staff was helpful and we walked out with some new shoes secured!
