Saw the Japanese art exhibit here which was fun. Meandered around the rest of the museum. I’m not a fan of European art from the Middle Ages, just oils of the aristocracy. The Latin American art here is truly dark. So much so that we skipped most of it. Some of it was downright repulsive!

World-class museum on the UT campus. Outstanding selection of contemporary, and classic art, across mediums. Second Saturday of every month lets you snag some snacks, buy a drink, and listen to live music in the gallery space. True Austin gem.

The Japanese exposition was marvelous. Highly recommended! Was a bit surprised not to find a single Georgia O'Keefe, though.
