The LBJ Presidential Library offers a highly informative and interesting experience for visitors interested in President Lyndon Johnson and American history. Exhibits are detailed and easy to read, encompassing several floors of multimedia, memorabilia, art, letters, and displays, including a copy of the Oval Office from LBJ's time. Visitors can explore the life and presidency of LBJ and the turbulent 1960s, gaining a new and profound appreciation for this remarkable president. The library features interactive exhibitions, such as a hip hop exhibit and an LBJ animatronic. It is a great presidential library where one can easily spend half a day. While parts may be under construction, a significant portion remains accessible. The gift shop has reasonably priced items. Admission is free for NARM members, with discounted prices for students, and the overall price is fairly decent. It is a fun half-day activity that comes highly recommended, regardless of one's political views, to get a well-rounded perspective. Many visitors plan to return after renovations are complete.
This was a pretty fun half day activity. It was super interesting to look at all of the exhibits. When we went, it was under construction partially, but we were still able to see 66% of all of the museum. The price was fairly decent. Would recommend.
