The Neill-Cochran House Museum offers a captivating glimpse into history. Visitors can explore the beautiful old house and learn about the past through interesting displays and antiques. The museum provides a serene atmosphere, perfect for those interested in history and old homes. The museum also hosts special events, such as the Juneteenth celebration, which was praised for its thoughtful and honest tour of the property's refurbished enslaved houses. The event featured a Juneteenth Black Rodeo exhibit and a gospel choir performance, all of which were highly enjoyable. Visitors have described the museum as a great place for learning about history, with the opportunity to see what these historic buildings are truly like. The tea service, catered by the Austin English Tea Company, was also a highlight for some guests, despite the unusual floral tea blends. Overall, the Neill-Cochran House Museum provides a wonderful and educational experience for anyone interested in the past.
