“Lee’s Meat Market is exactly what a great neighborhood butcher should be. The ribeyes are excellent every time: well cut, great marbling, and consistently better than anything else in Austin (Get them seasoned!!!!). You can tell they take pride in what they sell.
The sandwiches are also a big win. Simple, filling, and perfect if you’re grabbing lunch while you’re there. It’s one of those spots where you go in for one thing and leave with more than you planned.
The staff is always friendly and helpful, happy to answer questions or make recommendations without any pressure. And a big thank you to Lee for keeping this place going for so many years — Austin needs more local businesses like this.

“Rice had no flavor, beans are ok. Chicken is good, meat is good, flour tortillas are great. I got the combined plate, I think. 2 meat, they didn't have half of what was advertised. No shrimp, no tacos, no enchiladas.”

“When I stop here 9 out of 10 I'm getting there bakery sweets and bread rolls in the back. I prefer eating Mexican sweets made in house then to eat sweets that have been heavily processed just my opinion. They have a good variety and okay prices there is so much more including a hot line where you can order food from and a butcher shop aswell.”
