Hyatt Place Austin / Arboretum is a very well-run hotel noted for its exceptional and helpful staff, who are consistently described as kind, caring, welcoming, and going above and beyond. The property has newly renovated rooms that are clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and thoughtfully appointed with comfortable beds and excellent quality linens. Guests appreciate the clear attention to detail, including daily maid service, plush towels, great shower pressure, and well-lit vanity areas. The lobby is elegant yet comfortable. A full and delicious breakfast that varies daily is a highlight, adding a nice touch for longer stays. Check-in and check-out are smooth and efficient. While the exterior and surrounding area are considered a little lackluster and some rooms may have uneven AC cooling, these factors do not prevent the hotel from being an excellent and highly recommended place to stay. The overall feeling is one of relaxed luxury, with a higher quality of customer care evident throughout.
We had a stay before a wedding for 3 nights and across those 3 nights, every single member of staff that I interacted with was kind, caring, and beyond helpful. The staff was the highlight, but the room was clean, maneuverable, and well appointed with a very respectable breakfast. 5/5 absolutely recommend.
