One popular event is Creekshow, a ten-day nighttime display featuring illuminated art installations along Waterloo Creek. This free exhibit showcases the work of different artists, each telling a unique story through their art, and is accompanied by talented musicians. Visitors can enjoy the colorful light displays, participate in outdoor activities like playing games, or relax on lawn chairs and picnic tables. Concessions offering food and drinks are available, making it a family-friendly spot. During the day, the park offers beautiful landscapes perfect for walking, reading, sunbathing, or sharing a meal. The landscape is well-kept and thoughtfully designed, providing a peaceful environment with great views. The park also features the Moody Amphitheater, where various events are hosted regularly. Convenient free parking is available nearby. Creekshow is one of the many reasons I love loving in Austin. A free art show in a tiny treasure of a park downtown. Come support a beautiful park and wonderful art installations.

Along with all of the beauty this park offers in the day, the nightly Creek Show is what we enjoyed. The display of artists and talented musicians was a joy, and at night it has tons of illuminated art displays. This free exhibit is worth the visit.
