“My first visit to this location. It was a very busy store but fully stocked. The Jewelry department had beautiful pieces and Analisa was a great help! She was kind and professional . I then started looking through the clothes and while shopping I was approached by Carolina she saw my hands were full and offered to go get me a cart. She brought it to me with a smile.Every employee I came across was smiling and polite. “An employee had an issue with me checking out in the self checkout line, we were already at a register and she told us to go to the employee run register. I said we were ok and she said “well it’s 10 items or less” with a snotty attitude. I was upset with Target I was ready to leave on the spot. However, the lady Apple at the register was so nice and patient with me, I instead decided to speak to a manager. I ended up speaking with Ginny and Vickie (I believe was her name) and they were honestly the nicest people. Ginny, Vickie, and Apple are the reasons I love target. Their customer service was unmatched. I was so incredibly angry over 14 items being an issue (which I hadn’t counted until after, I thought it was 10) and was completely turned around by the care and patience of the management team. I am very impressed with Ginny and how she handled the situation. She definitely deserves a raise. Thank you to the kind ladies at this location for making my night better and treating me with compassion.”

“The store and even the strip mall itself have seen better days--Lack of merchandise, shelves barely stocked, and yet STILL managed to feel cramped and short of space. That's quite the feat.The one saving grace was the staff, who seem to genuinely care and try to assist their customers. One associate (wish I had gotten her name) went out of her way to help me locate a particular item. The cashier (she wrote her name on the receipt and I can't read it) was friendly and professional, and was calm when the computer wouldn't accept my coupon and I was momentarily panicky.So, kudos to the employees (at least the two I dealt with), but there needs to be improvement (much, much, improvement) on product availability and presentation.”

“This is a great Kroger Marketplace. Store is very well arranged.Love the deli and the great variety of cheeses. Also have a great bakery, and ready to serve dinner Meal selections. Not to mention a Starbucks. I hope they never go total self-check. I liked it better when the checker unloaded your cart as they were checking you out. Takes a little bit longer now.But the checkers are generally knowledgeable and friendly. And I have purchased a live Christmas tree from there last 4 years-- for my office. Good christmas trees-- it has been very Christmassy at our office. Great Kroger Mktplace.”

“Moderately bussing store. Great selection, workers are questionable. A lot of the staff are very helpful and friendly, and will go out of their way to help you! However, a small portion of the staff are unhelpful, rude, or unprofessional. The store is moderately clean, most of the time there are no messes. I appreciate the recent remodel, although it seems as if the brand new thinks are already breaking. There is an entirely shattered display shelf, which is quite interesting. In the produce, the bag holders didn't have that little hook to break the bag seal, nor were they in confident spots. The store is moderately ghetto, not a lot though. Store has great potential, Walmart is a great company. I love how they stock the rubbing alcohol in the pharmacy section, good job! This store is very nice, it can be bougie. Goodbye”

“As a birthday surprise for an old buddy, I ordered pineapple upside-down cupcakes/muffins. Employees were really friendly, and the internet ordering process was straightforward. The delivery went off without a hitch, and our acquaintance raved over the delectable baked delicacies. He claimed they tasted exactly like what his mother used to prepare when he was a kid. This bakery comes highly recommended.”

But, I was impressed by the assortment of products and available number as opposed to Galveston's. Galveston could use one of those exclusively grocery Walmarts, but it isn't going to happen. Get another catastrophic hurricane (and its getting near time) and you'd be hard pressed for any corporations to come there, let alone a secondary store.”

I live in Hitchcock Texas so I have to drive past the tractor supply there because the manager would not exchange a bug zapper because it was seasonal.
