“Sam's Club is my favorite place to buy bulk items.They sell food, clothes, appliances, electronics, and seasonal furniture, for the outdoors. Regular furniture for the home. We love the snack bar. Where we sit and have a bite to eat. Check out their bakery. You can choose from a wide selection of cakes and desserts for that special occasion. They also have days where new members can join for just 50 dollars. Look for advertising or just ask at the service desk. Discounts for service members, active,reserve, or retired veterans. I forgot, they also have a tire and rim department.”

We made the switch from the Walgreens down the road after (yet another) issue with them. My biggest regret is that we didn’t make the switch sooner. “I wanted to add a new review about how an employee named Kameron went out of his way to help me yesterday. While all of the employees have been polite and willing to answer questions, he went above and beyond. Yesterday while unloading my cart I was struggling to get my bottled water from the bottom of the cart and Kameron came running from across the lot to help as the cart was rolling a bit. He came up so quickly and said let me help you ma'am, I've got it, and he did. He put the water in my car, took my cart, and told me to have a great day and then continued collecting carts so pleasantly all while working in the summer heat. So refreshing to have an employee rushing to help a customer with a smile and great service. Thank you Kameron!”

“I had a pharmaceutical emergency and CVS was out of my medication. Kroger was also out. Walgreen's would only fill under conditions I did not meet. HEB was not accepting new patients for my medication. I was beginning to panic because I have to take this medication to function and would become extremely sick if I didn't have it. The Pharmacist promptly asked for my information, set me up an account over the phone and told me to have my Dr send over the prescription. She was very kind and professional. I had initially told her I had insurance but it did not cover the prescription and when I called back to confirm it was received she wanted to make sure, in fact, that the insurance wouldn't cover it because it was almost $300. I always have issues every month with CVS. I didn't have not one issue with this lady who didn't even have an account with me to fill a prescription that is so important for me to live. Thank you, Texas City Pharmacy for saving the day!”

“I used to go to Walgreens which I loved because they were 24 hours. But my insurance decided that I should use Kroger instead so since I shop here anyway it seemed like a good plan. Most of the time Kroger Pharmacy is awesome and amazing, but there have been a few issues that make it less than 5 stars. There have been a couple of mix ups with my insurance and what was covered and for how much but at least they are polite and helpful so that goes a long way. I do like that I can get refills through the Kroger app which is awesome. They're pretty good at letting me know when they're ready too. I wish they were open 24 hours like a Walgreens and it sometimes seems like they could use more staff. They say they offer the flu shot but I haven't gotten it here yet. I guess to need to do that! This would have been a 3 star review except for the awesome customer service I received today. That bumped it up and I appreciate the pharmacist and the staff for taking good care of me! They also told me about the GoodRX app to help with prescriptions that aren't covered by insurance so that was super awesome! It's for sure convenient as I shop here pretty much once a week; plus they take my insurance which is a biggie! So four stars well deserved!”

“By far the best pharmacy I’ve used. My prescriptions are almost always ready the same day they’re sent in, and if something is out of stock, I usually receive a phone call letting me know. I’ve tried several other pharmacies, and none have been as reliable or efficient. Reading some of the negative reviews, it seems like a number of the complaints are related to insurance restrictions or laws governing controlled substances - issues that are largely outside the pharmacy’s control. My experience with this H-E-B Pharmacy has consistently been excellent. If you have a problem not knowing when your prescriptions are ready maybe you should sign up for the text notifications or learn how to use the app”

“In my experience, the pharmacy staff is very dedicated to excellent customer service. Despite the fact that they always seem to be intensely busy, on a number of occasions they have taken the additional time needed to work on my prescriptions issues - e.g., inventory, insurance, or other challenges. IJ (the Pharmacy Mgr) oversees a team of very dedicated pharmacists & pharmacy technicians. When I was having difficulty getting information from my health insurance company on coverage for a vaccine, Harmonie cheerfully performed multiple checks over many weeks until she confirmed my coverage. When there was an inventory issue with one of my prescriptions, Kevin researched sources over several days until he identified a solution. He also did a great job of explaining the constraints & maintained routine and clear communication throughout the process so I would not worry about whether we were making process. Thank you for recruiting & retaining team members like IJ, Harmonie, & Kevin. They are the reason I use Walgreens as my pharmacy.”
