“Country store as you would expect. It is nice that it is there but there are not a whole lot of things in it. Enough though to make it worth going to instead of driving all the way to town. The staff is normally friendly and accommodating. The prices though are maybe not through the roof but they are definitely at the ceiling level in some items. Especially gas which is like a dollar a gallon more than town. If I had enough gas, I would definitely just drive to town.”

“I recently visited store, but I left my wallet at the establishment. I continued on my way, I didn't realize that wallet was missing until next morning. Thank you so much for honesty and excellent customer service. It made my day!Thank you ?!”

“I didn't pay attention to the the different prices for gas when I pulled in. I only saw the one price since they were flashing on one sign. The credit price was comparable to the other stations in the area, but if I had driven 5 more miles the gas prices were $.20 lower.”

“I was stopping through this little town on my way home, and the most amazing employee named Vickie went above and beyond for me, assisting with prepaying at the pump for gas as this was required to be initiated by the employee. I also asked if they had additional flavors of the Shirley Temple and Summer Splash Bloom energy drink flavors. She very promptly went back to check and ensured she did her best to find any remaining cans; however, there were none left. But she still offered a secondary solution, informing me to come back when they get another shipment in a couple of weeks. She was professional, kind, and thorough, and I need the leadership team to know how excellent her customer service is. Thank you again, Vickie, and keep shining, girl!”

“I visited this Shell gas station expecting 35¢ off / gallon with the Fuel Rewards app. My first attempt of payment, where the 35¢ per gallon discount was applied, got declined because my Cash App card was locked. I unlocked my card, completed the transaction, then realized that the 35¢ discount was not applied... In that moment, I became an unhappy customer. The gentleman at the counter was patient with me and provided excellent customer service. I'm appreciate y'all for helping me save $5 on fill up. ?? Lifetime savings with fuel rewards is $72.76”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

Read the postTexas-born Buc-ee's is changing the way people think about gas stations and convenience stores. This chain is known for its huge stores along highways, some with over 100 fuel pumps. With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
