“It has the vibe of a small town convenience store,because that's what it is. The gas pumps are not jammed right next to each other,so you have e some room,I always get something to eat and they usually have pizza, a sausage wrap around or something made in store,thats pretty tasty.”
“I LOVE HEB! Best grocery store ever. Their HEB brand foods are delicious, the employees are friendly and helpful. Plus, HEB does great things for the community. Love that place!!!”
“Eden East has become like a second home to me. They offer the best organic produce around, grown by some of the kindest and most knowledgeable folks you’ll ever meet. You’ll find unique items here that you’d never see in a store, and there’s nothing like eating food grown locally and with care.
Their farm is open to visitors, and they’re always happy to answer questions and share their knowledge. They even host community-driven classes and events that make you feel like part of something special. I pick up fresh veggies every week and am always impressed by their seasonal selections.
I truly can’t brag on them enough.

“So convenient! Sometimes they forget to put an item in my order but if you call the customer service, they are so friendly & willing to help. Sometimes the "substitutions allowed" feature isn't the best because they'll sub something too different from the original product or they decide not to sub anything at all.”

“Country store as you would expect. It is nice that it is there but there are not a whole lot of things in it. Enough though to make it worth going to instead of driving all the way to town. The staff is normally friendly and accommodating. The prices though are maybe not through the roof but they are definitely at the ceiling level in some items. Especially gas which is like a dollar a gallon more than town. If I had enough gas, I would definitely just drive to town.”

I come from in town of bastrop and McDade dollar general just to this store because how clean and kind this staff is . Brenda and Stephanie are the most professional yet kind hearted people you just don’t come by now and days. “Waited for over 10 minutes for an associate to show up to help load a case of water. Young man was very nice and helped me out even asking if I needed further assistance which was a first. Thought that was really nice. This was the best experience I've ever had at this store. Hope this young man is there next time I go! Need more people like him around. Wish I got his name.”

“I visited this Shell gas station expecting 35¢ off / gallon with the Fuel Rewards app.
My first attempt of payment, where the 35¢ per gallon discount was applied, got declined because my Cash App card was locked.
I unlocked my card, completed the transaction, then realized that the 35¢ discount was not applied...
In that moment, I became an unhappy customer.
The gentleman at the counter was patient with me and provided excellent customer service.

“Dollar general has an upgraded convenience store feel to it without the smell of gas. If I need something quick this is my go to place. Never had an issue when I visit.”
“I was struggling to get a prescription filled. I was not able to find enough to fill my prescription. Jason was able to find an alternative solution and fixed me up within minutes. Other heb locations were not near as helpful. He saved me from having my doctor's write another prescription to a different pharmacy”

“I would give this place a 5 out of 5 if it didn't cost so much! Great little shop. Happy to have it here in Bastrop. I understand the prices are high because the neighborhood is a little food desert, and it's a small boutique business. I would go a lot more if it wasn't so expensive.”
