Exceptional service from start to finish, Julia was so efficient, responsive, and accommodating, then Giselle followed her lead with a welcoming smile every visit, and bartender Cory, etc. Parking garage was accessible, just don’t keep any valuables in your cars bc we had a few car breakins that was independent of the hotel. “We stayed in the Juniper treehouse and really enjoyed our time. It is very adventurous vibe and exactly what I was hoping for when we booked the place. The bathrooms are a small walk away, but nothing major and as others mentioned they are well maintained. The pool was cool too. They do a great job here.
A few things people may want to know. It definitely is loud from the road noise at the juniper and willow. You’ll notice it’s not that far from Hwy 71. We were hearing cars and trucks all through the day and night. It’s not like honking and sirens loud, but you do hear the road noise pretty clearly. Also, if you are there when other people are staying in the neighboring treehouse it can be a little frustrating if they keep their lights on late at night as this glows right into the window. I took a picture, this was around 11 at night. I’m not sure how to combat this as they provide blinds and everyone is there to enjoy themselves, but I was hoping to feel a little more distanced from night lights being in nature. It was not a problem the first night when no one was in the neighboring treehouse. The staff is great though, anything we needed they were quick and helpful.
All in all a great trip and fun times. If you are looking for something super secluded, this probably wouldn’t be the best spot. I am unsure if the more expensive treehouses have the road noise and light issue.”

“Satisfactory stay with two exceptions. Upon initially entering the hotel, the aroma of Pine-Sol was so overwhelming. We almost had to step back out into the fresh air. Pine-Sol is meant to be diluted, not used concentrated straight out of the bottle The only other second opportunity for improvement we found were sticky tables at breakfast, even though there were only about half a dozen people there it seemed most of the tables were very sticky, unappetizing.”

“I loved my stay from top to bottom. Front Desk Staff was great and very helpful throughout my stay. My room was wonderful top to bottom. I'm generously pretty picky when it comes to my hotel rooms but I had absolutely no complaints. Thank you for helping me feel welcomed. During my stay I learned that the management is new. The new General Manager and Assistant Manager brought hangers to my room. You can tell they really care about the hotel and their guests. I'm excited to come back in a few months to see their hard work paying off!”

I had to book something last minute, and they were able to accommodate me at a fair price.The front desk receptionist was personable and funny, so check in was pleasant.The overall feel was very charming, and exactly what I wanted for my first night in Texas.An added bonus was they had the western channel, so I was able to watch Gunsmoke on TV before going to bed.Anyone who left less than 5 stars is probably a city slicker from New York, so please ignore their reviews. Come support a local business. You won't be disappointed.”
“What's good about this place is that it's a very interesting area and it's has easy parking...plus its not far from LA fitness and has an excellent restaurant area not far from hotel. The deer are very friendly and you can feed them plus they have a jacuzzi bathtub and you get two bedrooms. The place isn't as modernized yet it has an excellent porch and alot of friendly Texas attitude.”

“Casey was an excellent, considerate very professional GM. Twyla was very sweet and generous with the shampoo! I highly recommend this place; I will return. 2 star hotel but they try very hard to be accommodating. Plus they are planning some renovations. The price is right.

“This property is getting renovated. So, may not be in the best of the shapes right now. I would say that the folks at the reception were good and courteous. Rooms could have been more cleaner. Lifts could have been cleaner. Hallways can be cleaner too. You have the basic amenities available in the rooms. They are spacious.Rooms: The rooms are spacious. They have the required basic amenities. Washrooms are clean. The table tops or desktops could have been a bit more cleaner.Nearby activities: You have outlets nearby within 5 minutes drive. Good Indian, Mexican, and Chinese places. Downtown is also 15 minutes away.Safety: It’s a quiet and very safe neighborhood. Never felt uncomfortable during my stay.Walkability: Not that much. You need a car.Food & drinks: Restaurants are nearby. 5 mins drive. Indian, Chinese, Mexican. Downtown is 15 mins away. You can visit the 2nd street for good food options.Noteworthy details: Value for money. Property is getting renovated. Once, renovated maybe you can visit. Next to highway. Easy to drive. Safe and quiet neighborhood.”
