“They started off by giving our Beagle brisket scraps without us asking or prompting. We were immediately impressed by that. The food was great and they had beer on tap, great beer to go selections and great drink options. The friendly service was the cherry on top. We will definitely stop by this hidden gem again.”

“I don't think this place was here a year ago. Glad they're here now. This is almost a mini Bucee's, (which by the way is a couple of miles down I10 East). It is stocked with all things snack, sodas, beer, bottled water, chips, trail mixes of all flavors, Icees, etc. It also has a hot food counter - hot dogs, sausage, pastries and more. Of course, expect to pay convenience store prices. But hey, that's what they're here for - convenience. And they have gas pumps and a place for 18-wheelers to park out of the way. They have a plethora of clean restrooms with hot air dryers. They are located at I10 East and the cutoff road to Lockhart. Go there when in the area.”

“Erik went above and beyond helping me out when I had no other option, This man took his time to help out a stranger in need. I literally had no other options and was stranded but Erik saved the day even more so would not accept any money at all. “The wife and I stopped here on a day trip from Austin to the coast and were greeted by top notch Texas style friendly service one would expect at a small family run spot. I asked to see the brisket and a nice lady sliced off a nice juicy piece of the point to show me and it was gorgeous! So she slapped it in a piece of bread with some pickles, jalapeños and bbq sauce. It was some of the best brisket I've ever had and I'm a native Texan! This little gem is worth the effort and we will always stop by when we are near!”
