Being a German Shepherd, he sheds a LOT…taking him for his regular baths definitely helps keep him fresh and clean. You guys keep him looking so handsome and smelling so nice! 5375 US-290, BrenhamThe absolutely best Veterinarian Clinic! Professional on all levels and have taken care of our animals large and small. Our dogs actually like to go see them! Dr Phillips and entire staff always go above and beyond with exceptional care. If they tell you your pet needs X-rays or additional tests before making a diagnosis, it’s due to the fact that they cannot make a correct diagnosis without them. I recently overheard a pet owner declining such. So, long story short please don’t complain when you have been given opportunity to treat your pet correctly. At Phillips Veternarian Hospital you will get not only affordable care but excellent professionalism regarding medical suggestions and diagnostic testing. Kuddos to this clinic for following the laws of medicine, putting needs of animals before wants of humans. This is why your clinic is reviewed so highly!

She knows what she is doing and it takes a special person to handle our 2 Australian Labradoodles Ben and Bella. We don't have to pretend we're happy when we pick them up. They Love her and she Loves them

2828 Industrial Blvd, BrenhamThis place is definitely off the beaten path. We found it no problem using Google maps. If you're in the mood for anything else but a smash burger than this place is not for you. The only other thing on the menu is a loaded fries dish. It's covered with a pile of pulled pork. It's enough for two people. That's about it for the menu. The onion rings are good as well. Oh, they do have ice-cream for afterwards. All in all worth a visit. Almost forgot they do sell beer but a limited selection.

Brazos Valley Brewing Company
206 S Jackson St, BrenhamWow. We happened upon this place on our trip from Houston and can't stop talking about it. We tried two flights and each beer was phenomenal. My personal favorites were the bitter highway and the cherub rock. The bartender was so friendly and so proud of the beers. We loved all of the seating inside and outside and the huge parking lot. They have live bands swing through which will be nice to check out when it's a little less surface of the sun outside. We can't wait to go back!

302 S St Charles St, BrenhamThe staff has always been so nice here. They have an amazing selection of tease. The coffee is good including espresso. And if you can get there early enough for their food menu, they have a great version of eggs Benedict. I forget what they call it but it's pretty tasty. There's also books and board games all around for you to play or read. The setting or ambience is basically like a small town library/old soda shop.

Raizes Mexican Kitchen 2
1501 Hwy 290 E, BrenhamThis is a an authentic gem of a place, y'all. My brother recommended this restaurant and he didn't disappoint. We stopped by an early morning, and our breakfast was authentic Mexican, full of flavor, and at pleasantly large portions for the price. I got simple bean and cheese breakfast tacos, and they were large, packed tortillas - they didn't hold back. Same with my husband's, he commented that his chorizo and egg taco was great portion and not oily, which chorizo typically is. He loved their menudo, and couldn't stop raving about the flavor - and this is a rarity for him. On the way out I noticed they have their own blend of coffees and they even sell it, how awesome is that! The gentleman who took care of us was fantastic from beginning to end, and something about his service reminded me of home in the best of ways. This truly feels like one of those places I will happily share the word on so more people try this place out. This is a great hole in the wall, and the ratings are a big tell - it's a must try and we cannot wait to be back.

3015 US-290, BrenhamSo much food! I had the ground beef burrito with Chile con queso and let me tell you, that cheese was a lot and so yummy! I like their salsa a lot. They also have a creamy Verde salsa which is delicious. Hubs likes to put it on his beef enchiladas. Good service, clean restaurant, bar, porch for outdoor seating. I like that it's a ways off the highway. Feels safer somehow. If you know the area, you know there is a ton of traffic in this area especially during Antiques Week. Highly recommend stopping by. If you're local and haven't been, don't hesitate any longer.

309 S Park St, BrenhamThe food at this restaurant is very good to the point I eat there at least once a week and unlike other restaurants in Brenham I have never had to send food back or gotten ill from eating at Pioneer. I do want to address some of the complaints about the wait staff. He believes in giving all people no matter the age a chance at a job sometimes its that persons first job and like all jobs we just start out at we fail sometimes. So applause to Mark for giving people a start everyone has to start somewhere so give the kids a break!
