Royal Oaks Alpacas
9525 Grassbur Rd, BryanThough they were having technical issues with their phone (website encourages you to call ahead), Donna and Alex were very accommodating of our group of 11 dropping in on them and worked us around a scheduled tour. All in our group had a great time experiencing 'something different' and it felt good to be giving to a local, family-run business who takes good care of their animals. This is a fun learning activity for all ages - not only was the petting of the Alpacas fun but Donna was great about spending time with our super curious young boys (6-11) and she even let them try a couple of her yarn making machines. Even though the Alpacas had a group visit them earlier in the day, they were very active and loving with our group (we were there a little before 1:30 p.m.). We got lots of great pictures and all enjoyed learning about these animals and making new friends. I'd recommend this 'off-the-path' tour for all families. FYI, it's $10/person and we easily spent two hours with them - well worth the experience.

They greeted me immediately, but more important than that, I was met as I was looking for what I needed. Sweet lady (I did not get her name) reassured me and told me about her dogs with the same issue. She then helped me find all I needed and gave recommendations. Even the cashiers asked questions and offered their advice. Welcomed for this first time dog mom of a very spoiled Jack Russell.

824 East Villa Maria Road, BryanSince my original vet left town about a year and a half ago, Kingdom Animal were my first go-to only because of proximity. Now, it’s more than just that. They have welcomed my overdramatic cat time and time again, making sure she’s taken care of every step of the way. I had an unexpected accident on a Saturday evening with my cat and after they made an assessment, they immediately approved her for an emergency surgery. On a Saturday night! Seriously, thank you from the bottom of my heart to give up a Saturday evening for this. She stayed with them for two extra days just to make sure she would be safe to go home. I was also surprised I wasn’t charged a ridiculous bill for all of it. Most vets would have charged $2500+. I am really grateful for their service and expertise. Kingdom Animal Hospital has the best interest in their furry clients and owners.

4225 Pendleton Dr, BryanWe worked with AJ for 10 weeks doing her private lesson package with our dog, Duke. Our main goal going into training was learning how to become better handlers and also having Duke realize that not every situation needs a huge reaction. We appreciated AJ’s knowledge and dedication to her craft. We definitely feel confident moving forward and feel equipped with the correct tools, skillset, and mindset. By the end of our 10 weeks, we were walking around PetSmart, Home Depot, Lowes, and Century Square with a plethora of other dogs, people, and distractions. Will Duke be 100% perfect in every situation? No. But now we have the tools and foundation in order to create a better environment and handle stress better. We definitely wouldn’t have the confidence we have now without AJ. We hope to continue to work with AJ and continually learn more!

10776 FM1179, BryanThanks, Rick! I picked Ralph (aka Rolf) up today after his two weeks with you. He’s a completely different doggo than the excitable untrained boy I dropped off. He rode home in the seat with confidence, talking to me all the way. He got very excited when we pulled into the driveway.but waited for me to tell him to unload. He calmly walked around the yard on-leash and was very responsive to my directions. He and Lily are snuggling on the dog bed after he made sure she knew who was boss!
Look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks for a refresher session.
I cannot say enough good things about Rick and his staff. They did a great job with a very young GSD pup. He came home with more discipline and confidence. I’m planning on taking my Staffy for a few private lessons.

I wasn’t as big of a fan of the chicken feet, but that was mainly because I don’t think I enjoy chicken feet not because anything the restaurant did, they tasted great though.
The garlic rice that came with the lechon kawali was amazing, honestly my favorite part of an already great meal.

Food is really good too! Service is pretty quick and on point. The table and chairs did feel a bit too high for sitting but thats a minor thing. The only real negative is that the parking lot is limited. Feels cramped and you need luck to find parking during peak hours. Other than that, its a great spot to sit and have a drink.
