Dr. Honnas is exceptionally kind and thorough, he took the time to explain everything clearly, answered every question with patience and alignment as a priority.
His calm, reassuring presence and the professionalism of his team made our experience feel fantastic and reliable. Our horses were handled with gentleness and respect, and it was obvious how much everyone truly cares about the animals they treat.
The entire team was incredibly well attended, organized, and supportive, and I never once felt rushed or overlooked. It’s rare to find a practice that combines this level of expertise with such genuine warmth. I am deeply grateful for the care my horses received and would trust Dr. Honnas and the team at Texas Equine Hospital without hesitation.

Dr. Hartwick and the staff is great, they worked with me on how to treat one of my dogs that is very unfriendly to vets. Recently my other dog developed an eye problem. During the follow up visit, Dr. K mentioned that she had consulted with a vet eye doctor about the issue - a really impressive display of care. The staff and technicians are great, friendly, love animals and always cheerful. The Vet is cost conscious, explains prices in advance and gives estimates before work is started. Prices seem very reasonable.

She was transparent, responsive, and patient (which was definitely needed as first time dog owners). We knew training was going to be needed for our 6th month old English Cocker Spaniel puppy. After explaining our goals/expectations, we initially started with private lessons and it was working very well; however, we realized that a board and train was the right path for what we were looking for. The only mistake we made was not hiring AJ earlier on.
We couldn't be more pleased with the results!

She is so happy to go and see her friends. The people are very nice and I drive 30 minutes to take Cosmo here because it’s worth it. I work in the veterinary medicine field and will be a veterinarian soon and I trust these people with my pup! Highly recommend!

She had this uncanny way of knowing when I needed her. All I would do is look at her and she never looked at me but somehow she knew.
I got the BBQ Burger and wife got the Bluecheese burger. Both were cooked perfectly, juicy, and a soft bun. One of my pet peeves is I like my food hot. I was not disappointed. Fries were excellent. Nothing fancy but done well

One of those places that’s easy to relax and hang out for a while. Staff was friendly, beer was good with a nice variety and the whole vibe just felt welcoming. Love the honey brown ale! Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.
