Being a German Shepherd, he sheds a LOT…taking him for his regular baths definitely helps keep him fresh and clean. You guys keep him looking so handsome and smelling so nice! 5375 US-290, BrenhamThe absolutely best Veterinarian Clinic! Professional on all levels and have taken care of our animals large and small. Our dogs actually like to go see them! Dr Phillips and entire staff always go above and beyond with exceptional care. If they tell you your pet needs X-rays or additional tests before making a diagnosis, it’s due to the fact that they cannot make a correct diagnosis without them. I recently overheard a pet owner declining such. So, long story short please don’t complain when you have been given opportunity to treat your pet correctly. At Phillips Veternarian Hospital you will get not only affordable care but excellent professionalism regarding medical suggestions and diagnostic testing. Kuddos to this clinic for following the laws of medicine, putting needs of animals before wants of humans. This is why your clinic is reviewed so highly!

2828 Industrial Blvd, BrenhamWe were out looking for wildflowers and we found this 'Real Texas Burger Joint' on the edge of Brenham. Small menu. Great burgers.The fries and onion rings were delicious too. Quite possibly the best onion rings I've ever tasted. Our order was taken with care to make sure our burgers were made exactly as we wanted. Reasonable prices. Ice cream also available. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Restaurant is handicap accessable, no stairs- great for anyone using a walker or wheel chair. Easy to find, use Google maps or Waze. Would return most definitely.

Brazos Valley Brewing Company
206 S Jackson St, BrenhamWow. We happened upon this place on our trip from Houston and can't stop talking about it. We tried two flights and each beer was phenomenal. My personal favorites were the bitter highway and the cherub rock. The bartender was so friendly and so proud of the beers. We loved all of the seating inside and outside and the huge parking lot. They have live bands swing through which will be nice to check out when it's a little less surface of the sun outside. We can't wait to go back!

And if you can get there early enough for their food menu, they have a great version of eggs Benedict. I forget what they call it but it's pretty tasty. There's also books and board games all around for you to play or read. The setting or ambience is basically like a small town library/old soda shop.

1501 Hwy 290 E, BrenhamThis is a an authentic gem of a place, y'all. My brother recommended this restaurant and he didn't disappoint. We stopped by an early morning, and our breakfast was authentic Mexican, full of flavor, and at pleasantly large portions for the price. I got simple bean and cheese breakfast tacos, and they were large, packed tortillas - they didn't hold back. Same with my husband's, he commented that his chorizo and egg taco was great portion and not oily, which chorizo typically is. He loved their menudo, and couldn't stop raving about the flavor - and this is a rarity for him. On the way out I noticed they have their own blend of coffees and they even sell it, how awesome is that! The gentleman who took care of us was fantastic from beginning to end, and something about his service reminded me of home in the best of ways. This truly feels like one of those places I will happily share the word on so more people try this place out. This is a great hole in the wall, and the ratings are a big tell - it's a must try and we cannot wait to be back.

3015 US-290, BrenhamExcellent customer service, food and atmosphere! We were visiting Brenham for the day and got hungry. Popped in and enjoyed an early dinner. The lady that helped us was super knowledgeable about the town and gave some great advice on local shops. We would absolutely visit here again! They bring chips and salsa right when you sit down and the salsa is SO good and fresh! Great place!

1804 Longwood Dr, BrenhamFound a sweet dog today and wasn’t able to keep her for many reasons. Took her to the shelter and felt really good about it. She needed shots, flea meds and to be spayed plus she was starving. They fixed her up and I feel like I did the right thing. Thanks Brenham Shelter, you all rock!
