“Since the remodel food prices have been competitive. I find I get the same or better value for my dollar here now than I would at the Dollar General Market down the road. Employees are friendly and helpful. Especially the gal that works in the True Value section. I love the True Value hardware department, they have a decent selection of RV, plumbing, hardware ,and electrical supplies, paint and supplies as well as spray paint and etc. The prices are surprisingly very reasonable on most items in the hardware department as well.”
“It's an adorable store. Prices are outrageous, but I feel like that is expected when your store is in the middle of nowhere. For example, I like instant potatoes when I'm not feeling well. A set of 4 cost $3.88 at any Wallyworld. $8 at Lowe's Market. They do have local eggs, farmers fruits, etc. They run out extremely quickly so go early! Staff tries to relate to you, when checking out, but I have never liked someone checking me out and making small talk about my items. It feels invasive. I still like going here.”
“I visit this DG often when I'm in a pinch, and I always have a surprisingly pleasant conversation with whomever is checking me out that night. Of all simple places to enjoy going, well, this is one lol Always extra friendly staff ♡”
“Restrooms out of order, hours don’t match what’s posted on Google, cash doesn’t work at the self checkout and DG app doesn’t work inside store. All those being said, none are a big deal to me. Staff is always helpful and courteous, which IS most important to me.”
“Nice people helpful unlike others sorry to say like when you ask or need help they act like it's a bother. oh im sorry to ask you to do your job and I didn't land you here last time I checked you had to come in and want to work here and fill out an app not like they call random ppl up to come and be hired. Mthrfkrs act like they were drafted into the job unwilling and reluctant lol . But they are nice here .”
“Convenient, the online coupons allow for a great deal of savings, however the app rarely works in the metal buildings and coupon tags are never placed near items so it is hard to remember what coupons you have available to use.”
