“We love HEB. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the products and their location within the store. You also get to enjoy bbq that is so delicious. The prices are reasonable considering the overall market prices right now.”
“Use HEB. If you use Amazon Pharmacy your meds will cook in the mailbox in the summer as Amazon uses USPS. I requested them stop, and they won't. Occasionally it was UPS but you roll the dice. I received several gel cap type medicines completely melted and other meds likely don't do too well getting slow cooked like a brisket, so yea, use HEB.”
“Gruene General Store is like a blast from the past. It reminds me of the General store in F.C, WI when I was a young child. I could have stayed for a couple of hours in the store. There is so much to see and they have ice cream!!! If you are in Gruene, Texas, you must visit this store!”

“I love this H-E-B with the freshly cooked BBQ making it 5 Pluses!!!I love to Hill Country design of the building and these new HEBs just have an upscale feeling to them. The produce section is absolutely amazing and so is the bakery.Everytime I go into an HEB I just feel so lucky and blessed that we have such wonderful businesses and so much growth here in Central Texas. I love my H-E-B!”

“This is a decent size Dollar General located near Canyon Lake. It has 18 doors of refrigerated space and 16 doors of freezer space. Four of those doors are dedicated for cold beer, but no craft beer. You will also find gardening supplies, cosmetics, grocery items, home decor, snacks, household items, and pretty much anything that you would need for the home or outdoors.”

“I like our local Walmart except it’s very popular with all the tourist who visit the river and other New Braunfels attractions. So there are always items out of stock and not restocked. We’ve gone to other Walmarts like Cibolo and they always have everything stocked. Just saying! You need to go check them out. Thank You!”

“I am a big fan of H-E-B and while this location is not one of the newer model stores, the service here stands out. I recently needed to pickup some holiday blooms and the in-store florist could not have been more friendly and helpful. I was able to modify an arrangement in the cooler to add some more holiday cheer and the end result was amazing. It had red roses, asiatic lilies, baby's breath, holiday berries, and more. I never order flowers from a web site-you really need to go in and talk with florists because they can tell you which flowers are fresh and give you ideas that you may not have considered about an arrangement. Great service, highly recommended.”
“I visited this location today (2 days before expected temperature freeze) to pick up cat food not realizing everyone was out panic shopping. The line was long when I was ready to check out and got even longer as I waited. The lady at the register was a rock start knocking out each transaction as fast as possible, and with a positive and welcoming attitude. People like her are exactly what the service industry needs. This was at approximately 7:30pm on 1/22/26.”

He really took the time to make sure that I found what I was looking for. He helped me find the cheapest items and made sure I knew how to get the best deals.”

“This DG is close to home which is really convenient for us and the cashier I usually see is so friendly. When I was heavily pregnant he would help me load things into my car when I needed help. Only down-side is that sometimes the line can get kinda long, but that's with any DG. They have a self-checkout that is supposedly going to be up & running soon which should help! Another odd thing to add is that they check 20 dollar bills (and up) very often, but I believe that is being enforced by management.”

“I am not a direct customer for this store. I am a door dasher and let me tell you. I have dashed to many locations and the gentleman that works at night is amazing. I’m sad to say I don’t know his name and I should be ashamed of that.
I just picked up two orders from this store. He was being bombarded by door dash orders and walk in customers. Let me say this man is an amazing worker. He managed to pull off all those orders and customers single handed. They rearranged the store on him and he was busting his butt to find the items. All while handling walk ins.
I know one review will not change his pay or position but I hope he at least gets the recognition he deserves. It is rare to find people these days that are as hard working as that man is. I applaud you sir and that isn’t something I do lightly in this day and age. 10 stars to you good sir!!!!!!”
“I went to the gas station and they wanted $9.00 for eye drops. I left and went to Dollar General and paid $4.00 for Clear Eyes. I was so excited when I saw the yellow snack bowl just what I was looking for. Customer Service was wonderful she was very friendly and helpful.”
“This HEB Pharmacy has the absolute best staff! Everytime I go to the pharmacy it is a wonderful and smooth experience. The pharmacists on staff are always willing to offer help and answer all of my medication questions. The pharmacy manager, Daniel, is always smiling and energetic when I come in.
