“This place may be small, and therefore not offer everything you need in terms of Mexican goods and produce, but the tacos are amazing. I've had the carnitas, asada and al pastor, as well as the quesadillas.”

“This is our go to DG. We moved to kerrville, and it’s disappointing to go into the other stores after living in center point. They keep the aisles clear, the store organized, and friendly employees. I’ve told them multiple times how nice it is, and how good of a job they’re doing.”

“So HEB is originally from Kerville and it has two near each other. This one is a bit larger and has an BBQ restaurant in it on the left as you enter. This will scratch you BBQ itch before you go shopping for food and make you more reasonable with your groceries. Like all HEB Stores this is a one stop shop for everything when you are in the area.”

“I've probably had about 7 deer processed here so far, we've tried nearly everything they dream up, very creative, the quality pork they mix with sausage was a important plus! Their dry ring, pan sausage, all meats and especially the packaging and labeling are superior to any other market I've used in over 50 years of hunting!
Try the broccoli salad with lunch in the dining room or take it with you. Don't miss the casseroles and all chicken salad varieties. Experience parisa (meat spread) with crackers, its a South Texas tradition.
Were so glad to have the new owners and staff in beautiful Comfort TX.”

“Great fuel prices but may I suggest you place arrows on ground to keep traffic through the pumps in one direction? It's so small there and it gets really hectic. Just an idea.”

“If you're cruising through Comfort, Texas, and in need of a grocery fix, Lowe's Market is a solid pick. It's a community-centric spot where the shelves are stocked with the staples you'd expect and some local treats that might surprise you. The store isn't a sprawling mega-center, but it doesn't need to be. It nails that small-town charm. The produce section is fresh and offers a decent variety, considering the size of the place. It's not going to rival a farmers' market, but for a quick dinner or replenishing your pantry, Lowe's Market has got you covered. The aisles are well-organized, making your shopping trip a breeze. As for prices, they're reasonable. You might pay a little more here than at a big box store, but you're also supporting a local business that clearly values its community roots. Plus, the staff seems to embody southern hospitality, greeting you with smiles and genuinely seeming happy to help. The meat section deserves a shout-out, too. It's pretty robust for a store of its size, with a selection of quality cuts that could easily grace your next barbecue. In a nutshell, Lowe's Market at Comfort is a hometown grocery store that punches above its weight in terms of quality and service. It's a welcome pit stop in a quaint little town.”

“Interesting store. Seems to be an older one. Not in a bad way. To me it seems like it's straight to the point. Your quick in and out shop. Same great HEB signature products minus all the frills of a larger store. Convenience. Still a clean well stocked store. Recommended.”

“HEB is the best at everything, including gloriously wacky typos on cakes that taste delicious whatever the grammar. Points off for atmosphere because it isn't a German bakery in Rothenburg with fresh Bauerbrot and snieeballen.”

“I have yet to meet a sour Mini Mart framily member. The Frtiz Family established amazing values and I am extremely eager to learn more and see what their values really are.”

“It is a great place, but to cabby walk or push cartons down about of the isles. There's Always way to much blocking the isle. And the products on the shelves are packed in so much if your sweater touches a d item, yup have to pick it up cause they fall off and role across the floor. Other than that. I but some things there.”

“Clean gas station with fair prices. Plenty of room in the trash can at the pumps for the lady next to me who seemed to have an insurmountable amount of loose trash in her vehicle. I felt better after she got it cleaned up.”

“I am new to the hill country and was welcomed with a friendly hello, one worker in particular, Sativa, made me feel great by making small talk and complimenting me and giving me directions, I will definitely be returning.”

“Paint department was especially helpful and had paint in stock and well as their computer matching worked unlike the Uvalde store. Their computer is always out and they don't get it fixed.”

“The Employees make this place great. Tracy, the Manager, needs a raise, because she's always friendly, extra helpful, and remembers your name. But it's not just her. Faces here don't change very often, and there's a good reason for that - they don't need to. From the newest young man to the longest term employee, every one at this location we've dealt with on a regular basis is friendly and more than ready to help. We just wish it were a little bigger to hold more items. We've been spending a lot of time in Kerrville lately, near this store, and it is much better run than the Stripes just West of it and that other unmentionable place just East of it.”

“Dollar General does have a few items for a dollar and several items that can be purchased for less than main stream stores. They are well supplied with seasonal items, hygiene items, food items, both frozen and non perishable, as well as dog and cat supplies.”

“It is a Mini Mart, just like all Mini Mart's that are here in the Hill Country. I went for gas a couple of times, so I don't know too much about it and when I have the need to go in, I will give you some update on this one. I heard the coffee is good, but as said, I have ti check it out before I can tell you more about it.”
