“To be honest, I've had mixed experiences at this station. It is not uncommon for pumps to be out of order temporarily. However, that is to be expected. The reason I come here exclusively is, they sell E85. E85 is usually in stock, decent price, and every time I have measured the ethanol content is dead on at 85%. Exactly what I needed. Prices otherwise are solid. Employees have been helpful and reasonably friendly in my experience. Never tried any of the food or anything. But, if you're looking for E85 in the elgin area, this is the place to go!”

“The people working here are always really nice, and they usually have some pretty delicious tamales in a crockpot. Their bathrooms are also really clean, which is hard to find in gas stations, so that alone bumps their rating up. They offer fishing licenses, bait and tackle, a beer cave, and pretty much anything you'd want to find in a small town gas station.”

“I would like to give a HUGE shout out to the Manager Sherry Sedberry. Such a wonderful and caring person. Traveling home from Austin from Moms, I realized that my wallet was not in the truck and I was on empty. Not a good predicament. Thank goodness for small towns and wonderful people. Sherry allowed me to CashApp her personally and then use the cash to fill up my truck and get on my way. Every trip from here on out to Austin to see Mom with include a stop at the Exxon Food Box. Thank you Sherry!!”

“The location of this store is right around the corner from where I live, so they are great for anything I might have forgotten at the grocery store. They even had toilet paper during the covid-19 toilet paper scare!”

“I was able to get my mother in law her test strips for her glucose meter with no problem. Unfortunately at our local CVS they had one box of test strips that were expired from last year. So I had to make the trip to the Elgin CVS that was well stocked and no expired items. The store was very clean and friendly staff at check out.”

“I went to the location in Elgin Texas to get propane because it’s cold and everywhere else was sold out there is a lady that works there who went above and beyond to try to get me propane and she deserves a raise a promotion or something she was kind and really did everything she could even though the gas station was out she just don’t even know how grateful and how much I appreciate her for trying I didn’t catch her name but if she sees this I did find some at self service at Walmart and thank u for helping me”
