“Hands down one of the best guest service experiences we have ever had. Charmaine at the front desk is exceptional. From the moment we called in when we arrived at the airport, to check in & throughout our stay, she made us feel welcomed, valued & taken care of. As frequent travelers, we notice great service when we see it, and Charmaine truly stands out.
Our teenage girls even mentioned how friendly she was, which is rare praise coming from teens. She goes above and beyond for guests, and how we were treated, confirmed we made the right choice staying here.
The airport shuttle was a huge plus, and the driver was super friendly. The hotel was clean & the beds were comfortable. Staying here & Ubering to the cruise port was a smarter option than paying premium prices to stay in Galveston. Highly recommend this hotel!”
“We were visiting friends in the Mont Belvieu and chose this hotel mainly because it's set back from the main road, making it quieter than many properties along Garth Road.
Check-in was fine. Although I had already checked in via the app, I stopped by the front desk to pick up a physical key, which I usually do as a backup. As someone relatively new to Hilton Garden Inn, I asked whether any complimentary upgrades were available. The response I received, something about water in the room, was a bit confusing and didn't clearly address the question.
Later, when we left the room with recyclable bottles, I asked the same front desk staff member about recycling options. Again, the response was unclear and I was directed toward a water fountain, which didn't answer the question. I shared this experience with the general manager, Veronica, who was receptive and professional. She explained that the property does not have recycling options and said she would address this with management and also use the situation as a coaching opportunity to improve staff communication and customer engagement.
The room itself was fine and met expectations, with no major issues. It's also worth noting that the hotel does not have suites--only standard and accessible rooms so upgrades should not be expected, as confirmed by the general manager.
Overall, a decent stay, and I appreciate management's willingness to listen and improve. Hopefully, communication will be smoother on future visits.”

“This was the best hotel stay I have ever experienced in Houston. Staff was the absolute best. I forgot her name but I believe it's Danielle. She need a raise. She for sure have the best customer service. I will only book here from now on the Houston area. Only issue was my fridge wasn't cold. Baby from her service I didn't even complain or care. Everything else was 10 out of 10 from breakfast, cleaning, checking in to make sure I'm good, towels, the pool, washer and dryer and the gym. ? love it here. If that's not her name tell her forgive me but I checked in at 3pm on Saturday June 8. Tell her I will see her in July?”

“I love the new Laquinta Inn design and theme.Its fresh and elegant.
Got here for the night as I had business in the area.I was greeted with a very inviting open plan and classic deco that was just so warming.
Check in was a breeze and our room was clean and tidy.
We came and sat at the bar where Kimberly stole the show.She was really engaging and a joy to have as a bartender
We spent time chatting up Kimberly who is very knowledgeable about the local restaurants and activities in the area.
The only downside to this stay was the smoke detector which went on all night intermittently even though there was no smoke.
Will definitely come back and stay at this location.Price and value for money!!!”
“It's a real pleasure to write a review like this when it's well deserved. This is a fantastic hotel--what you see is indeed what you get. The photos are accurate, no filter games or deception. Hotel is management is stellar, and they believe that the customer is always right--even when they're not. My room was cool, clean and comfortable, with that added modern touch. The pool is perfect for a dip, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops near by if you don't want to drive into the city to get those odds and ends you might need. I had everything I wanted or needed, and any concern I had was immediately addressed and cured. Thanks Bre, and the Hampton Inn team. You made my stay :-)”

“The mattress are hard. I have stayed at other SpringHill Suites (Lindale, TX - amazing mattress). Also no lotion options (travel or dispensary in the suite). Nice room overall. Liked that the porcelain furniture was in a separate room from the shower. Nice size closet, sitting area with sofa w/ trundle and desk space.”

“I actually had a nice stay here! Ended up paying for a whole week. But I had to take a star off because..... The rooms are pretty outdated and the bedding is poor quality. “I had a great experience. The staff was the nicest. From the front counter, to maintenance, to house keeping. We notified them that we would be arriving earlier than the check in time and they accommodated us and had our room ready! The breakfast was hot and great all three days. On Friday they offered complimentary cookies which were delicious and soft! The room was clean and comfortable as well as the entire hotel. They have a pool and hot tub. It has restaurants near by so it's not much travelling for food unless you're looking for something special or particular along with convenience stores. Located about 7 miles from Downtown Houston. I would definitely stay again and encourage others to visit”

“Room had a few things that were just skimpy. The towels were small and the shampoo etc. wasn't enough for both of us, mainly because water was so hard. Lighting wasn't great in the room. The hallway had a smell that was not great, but at least the room smelt good. Breakfast was really good and the lady working the area did really well and was very welcoming. Front desk however was all business. No smiles, no how are you doing, or welcome both at check in and check out.
Don't park your car next to the trees. The bird poop was unbelievable.”
