“The employees at this gas station remind me of going to the gas station as a kid. Everyone is kind, helpful and excited to be at work. If you want to start your day with a "good morning" smile or laugh, this is the place to be”

“2 things. First of all, a review that says they poisoned all the cats and the employees confirmed is false. Second, pretty clean area, pretty solid warm food choices, good food in general, awesome slushees, and just over all really good, including staff. I’m more or less familiar with them now, and they are friendly.”

“If you're into great prices on gasoline, Murphy USA is a clear choice in Del Rio. It's located in front of the Walmart on the north side of town, and right next to the mall. It's self service, but I've never had any complaints what little interaction I've had with the managers. I have visited Del Rio at least once a year since the early 1980's. When Murphy USA opened it gave the HEB some competition. The water and squeegies for cleaning your windows are kept up nicely. Not much else to say.”

“Never is crowded, Cheap gas prices, nice building and employees. And clean restrooms. I was even greeted when I walked in. 10/10 recommend coming here. Edit 1/10/23. This place is under construction Right now. They tore the pumps down. They are probably replacing them. There is gates and trucks and a lot. I MEAN a lot of dirt and dust. Go to the one on Gibbs for right now. It is probably gonna be under construction all week.”

“A welcoming environment, floors are a bit sticky and the store has developed a distinct smell. employees are either extremely polite, or spawns of satan. the hotdogs have been rolling since the day the building was built, the soda fountains are either not working or always flat. great establishment and excellent customer service.”

“Friday morning, October 21, 2022: GREAT service at the car wash. The young man who assisted me this morning was 100% on his game. I’m often hesitant to take my Abarth into washes that have the automated chain that grabs the driver’s side tire (low-clearance vehicle owners, go ahead and share my pain). This gentleman guided me into the wash with the utmost of care & gave a stellar pre-wash to boot. And it wasn’t just me; I observed him with the customers that preceded me. Super contentious and courteous! Wish I got his name, but I’d like to think that whoever manages this spot realizes what a gem they have in their employ. Many thanks!!”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

Read the postTexas-born Buc-ee's is changing the way people think about gas stations and convenience stores. This chain is known for its huge stores along highways, some with over 100 fuel pumps. With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
