“I'm a member of AAA and I went to the store. Got back in my car and it didn't start. A man came to help me so it gave me a boost. While I'm thanking the man, my car died again. Called AAA and they suggested to come and tow the car to D&L auto shop. That was on a Tuesday evening. I needed an alternator and a new battery. My car was completed on Thursday. I was thinking it would take longer. I was so happy when I was told it was ready. It costed me $895.00.”

“Daniel is my new mechanic. I took my truck to another shop and he couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. Within 2 minutes of Daniel looking at my truck, he knew right away I needed a new U-joint. It took them about a week to get my truck done but that was my fault for I drove the truck until the driveshaft was ruined. They were able to salvage it and saved me about $500 on having to get a new one. They definitely know their stuff. I could go on and on but let me just end with, "definitely recommend". Prices are very reasonable.”

“I grew up with a mechanic who took care of all our cars until he passed away when I was in my early twenties. After moving to Dallas, I struggled to find a trustworthy mechanic, whether at a small shop or a dealership. I often encountered issues such as incomplete work, mistakes, or even had to request my old parts back to ensure I was receiving the services I paid for.
However, I accidentally discovered Carlin's when I lived in Duncanville for a year, and it has been an amazing experience. This place is incredible – they don't try to upsell you. Instead, they explain what repairs are needed, what can wait, and what can't. Their pricing is fair and honest, and all the technicians are polite, professional, friendly, and exceptionally knowledgeable. They do fantastic work!
I assure you, you won't regret going to Carlin's. It’s almost a one-stop shop, and I believe they plan to expand their services to include front-end alignments, which would cover almost everything you need. If there’s something they can't do, they’ll let you know and refer you to someone reliable.
I truly hope this place lasts for another 25 years, as that’s about how long I have left on this Earth. I would love to know that I can rely on Carlin's for every car I own in the future, without worrying about whether the vehicle will be safe and roadworthy. It wouldn't let me post this without a photo so I'm posting a picture of the car they worked on which was a 2018 Chevrolet Sonic LT which by the way they no longer make on the parts are from Mexico and Canada which can be expensive and hard to find but I never have any issues when I take it to Carlin's.”

They replaced a side window that was destroyed by a rock, which required removing the interior panel. They did it quickly, the door panel looks undisturbed, and vacuumed all the glass.
