“Welcome to beautiful Eden Texas! In case you can't tell, I'm being just a *touch* sarcastic. After my second trip through Eden, and my second stop at the Alon station there, I finally realized that the town name HAS to be in reference to its proximity to San Angelo - only in comparison to THAT wonderful city could this place be considered a garden! OK, the locals seem to like it. And the hunting seems to be good. But I digress... The Alon station is certainly a decent place to stop, gas up, grab a (fried) meal and/or a comfort break, and pick up on-road snacks or automotive supplies like oil or washer fluid. The prices are pretty good, as with most Alon stations, and the attendants seem to be unfailingly friendly and helpful. Gotta love Texas small-town folk, they are the real treasure here. Recommended. Be aware that half the population of Eden reside at the local "Detention Center," so be wary of hitchhikers.”
“I just want to say yall have an amazing big hearted man working here by the name of Christian. Christian if you read this. Thank you. Thank you for what you did. For me and my family. You are truly a blessing. ??”
“The gentleman working Thursday night 5/25 was so nice. I had picked out an expired chocolate milk without realizing it and he let me know. I really appreciate that. That was a very nice thing to do. Great customer service and he was very polite. Thank you sir.”
