“Very good place to shop.
I often go to the Dollar Tree in Forest Hill and they always have it stocked, the only thing they need is people to attend some checkout lines.

“Great store for Japanese based products. And the prices are very reasonable. I was able to find a lemon soda (Kirin) my brother and I liked when we lived in Japan in the early 70s. First time I've seen that soda outside of Japan.”

This review is about one item that could be Michelin star level. The huge bag of hand-cut style fries.
Not Del Friscos, Chamberlains, or any restaurant you can think of has better than these fries when prepped right.
Fry Daddy @350°, peanut oil. First place a single layer if fries between thick paper towels. Flash thaw in the microwave on high 1 min.
Make sure they are thawed and dry. Place a single order in the basket and drop them a second, lift in case they bubble up. Now drop them 8 minutes, stirring them every 2 minutes so they get evenly browned.
Prep your cracked black pepper, a light seasoned salt, and a pinch of brown sugar mixture.
At 8 minutes place the golden spuds on paper towels to drain, immediately season while still hot from grease. Close your eyes. Now enjoy the best fries of your life.
I have a pro fry cutter, have tried vinegar baths, salt blanching etc. I've made them as many ways as there are days. These compete with my best, at a fraction of the cost and almost no work... no effort.
While there, case of pepsi? As low as $5, 36 cans- varies from about $6. I stopped drinking sodas, but if I fall off the wagon, Town Talk it is.

“Had a great variety of items to choose from and I actually found the items that were on sale I was looking for. My friend had never been to an Ollie's so she was like a kid in a candy store LoL. We hit every Isle and we both came out with a shopping cart full of goodies. If I'm ever in the area I'll definitely be back to this location”

“I go to Aldi for the majority of my groceries. I saw something that was pretty neat to me they have a brand of German beer there that has been brewed since 1436. I will include pics. $6 for four pack of imported German beer. not bad!!I don't drink beer so don't ask me how it taste.”

“I had such a great experience. It was my first time at this location and a women named Destiny saw that I had my hands full with my two year old son and helped me bag my items. She was very welcoming and friendly. She also went to put my cart back for me. “Local establishment that takes cares of the community. Great food in the back, he uses the smoker on the weekends but even the chicken tenders from the fryer are legit ?really good specials, come hungry he hooks up every plate.Day or night, we always feel safe there as well. Not many stores in the area feel like that, Rocky's is family, good people.”
“I love this Dollar General because they have everything I need and the price is great. When I say I live below my means on purpose oh I mean that!! I shop at four stores: HEB, Dollar General, Walmart sometimes, and Target when I treat myself?I brought all my detergent and dryer sheets from here! “My chiropractor told me to get a foam roller from Five Below, so I went right after he said it. An employee helped me find what I needed, which they absolutely had, and it was a great value for the price. They have WAY more things than anyone realizes, and the prices are literally shockingly low for quality items usually (my record now is like 95% wins and an occasional disappointment - pretty great odds considering the money Ive saved). “Let me tell you something, Dollar Tree comes in clutch every time. Where else can you go and buy goodies from the bathroom to the bedroom all for $1.25. I try to go in with a list but by the time I get to the register I've picked up all the extras lol The shower curtain liner works great, even picked up some carpet cleaner and dish soap. The beauty and cosmetics section is the real deal. A lot of skin creams, beauty blenders, pretty much everything you need for an at-home spa day. The cashier is always nice and speedy. No complaints from me. In today's economic climate, saving a few dollars on household items is so important.”
“I go here a lot - it's super close to my house. As far as the store goes, it's a dollar general but it's also the cleanest one I've ever been into! That being said, I want to give a shout out to one of the managers. I stopped by there today and asked if they could possibly give me 12 bags. I deliver for meals on wheels in this area and didn't have enough bags for my meals. The manager gave me a whole box! She didn't have to and I was actually expecting her to turn me down but she went above and beyond! So thank you!”
“When you hear 99 cent store you might think of a store similar to the Dollar Tree. But it is closer to being a neighborhood convenience store. It's still pretty new, and have been open only (from what I can remember) over a year but less than 3. I think of it as an extension of the store across the street named Rocky's. Yeah it have a few items that would put it in the same league as the Dollar Tree, but all and all it's a nice convenience store. So, yes I would recommend my friends and family or even someone I just met to go check it out if you're wanting some quick zoom zooms and wham whams, (snacks, candy, and drinks)cold beer,or a pack of smokes. They also have some cool clothes. Hood printed tee shirts, shorts, fresh caps, and plenty of accessories to put together a nice ghetto fabulous outfit.(what did you expect? this is not the Gucci or Versace store) Last but not least you can go in and (do one of my favorite things) stick a few bucks in one of the exciting, entertaining, luck testing Life of Luxury video slots machines. To wrap this review up I think the Berry 99 Cent Store is a clean, convenient, satisfying store with regular convenience store prices that I would and do go to. But I would definitely try to go in with more than just 99 cent.”
