I really did hope to find the white Chanelle yarn I was looking for but, I didn't. But was still happy when I left. I know I'll find a store with the yarn I'm looking for. Lol”

“They still have deals that come up and beat out other stores, and their generic Winco Brand is quite good. They beat out most other stores on their egg and butter prices consistently. Another thing worth mentioning is that their heated meat dinner like Fried Chicken. It tastes great, meaning competitive against Lisa's and Churches and beats them on the price by a mile.”

“I got lost in this place! (In a good way) The prices are excellent and it's great quality stuff! I make special trips here often, and I live in downtown Fort Worth. It is ALWAYS worth the drive! If you are just starting out and need stuff to furnish your kitchen, bath, etc is a great place to get your dishes, utensils, cookware, things like that and you love everything Japanese then this is definitely your place!”

“Despite the name, some things were well above $5. The purpose of my visit was to look for stocking stuffers, which I found but there was more than I expected to find. Toys, jewelry, electronics, makeup, shirts, and shoes. The supply is very limited and not a big selection but still a decent choice. The self checkouts were a nice change from my last visit a year ago. If you haven't been here before, go. If you have, come again soon. It's worth the trip.”

They don't always have the same items in stock, so if you see it and want it, I would suggest you get it because when you go back, it may not be there. “I go to Aldi for the majority of my groceries. I saw something that was pretty neat to me they have a brand of German beer there that has been brewed since 1436. I will include pics. $6 for four pack of imported German beer. not bad!!I don't drink beer so don't ask me how it taste.”

“When you hear 99 cent store you might think of a store similar to the Dollar Tree. But it is closer to being a neighborhood convenience store. It's still pretty new, and have been open only (from what I can remember) over a year but less than 3. I think of it as an extension of the store across the street named Rocky's. Yeah it have a few items that would put it in the same league as the Dollar Tree, but all and all it's a nice convenience store. So, yes I would recommend my friends and family or even someone I just met to go check it out if you're wanting some quick zoom zooms and wham whams, (snacks, candy, and drinks)cold beer,or a pack of smokes. They also have some cool clothes. Hood printed tee shirts, shorts, fresh caps, and plenty of accessories to put together a nice ghetto fabulous outfit.(what did you expect? this is not the Gucci or Versace store) Last but not least you can go in and (do one of my favorite things) stick a few bucks in one of the exciting, entertaining, luck testing Life of Luxury video slots machines. To wrap this review up I think the Berry 99 Cent Store is a clean, convenient, satisfying store with regular convenience store prices that I would and do go to. But I would definitely try to go in with more than just 99 cent.”

“This has not been the best DG over the last couple years. I found myself forced to shop there recently and was pleasantly surprised! It's still a work in progress but it's improving, apparently they got a new store manager who actually cares about keeping the store decent. I asked him for help finding something and he was super helpful and nice, hopefully he can turn this garbage dump into a decent store. If he does I'll definitely shop there more instead of going further away to a better store.”

“I love this Dollar General because they have everything I need and the price is great. When I say I live below my means on purpose oh I mean that!! I shop at four stores: HEB, Dollar General, Walmart sometimes, and Target when I treat myself I brought all my detergent and dryer sheets from here! “This store (1527 s bowen rd ) is always stocked and beautiful when you walk into the store,it's the best one around all the other dollar general stores around my area are never stoked and very rude i.e the one on green Oaks rd 76006 area hint hint.but not this place I drive all the way hear just to shop in peace and find the things I NEED and they have it, Also the best 2 people who work their are Teresa and Mark they are always here and busy but still have time to be nice with a smile and help when asked every time. They have the most extensive stationary/office supply section I've ever seen from any DT location. . . and yep I found exactly what I needed and then some.
