“I have had 3 little chihuahuas spayed here. They are great doctors. I didn't have any problems with my girls. Their shots, heartworm, flea and tick medications are a lot cheaper. I go there each year for shots and heartworm testing and meds.

“Gorgeous hidden gem tucked away for an escape from busy city life. The abundance of wildlife here is so fun to see! Absolutely love the amount and variety of trails available here. The bluebird trail and Whitetail deer trails have benches all throughout, which I really appreciate! I wish the Lakeshore trail had a bench or two so you could sit and enjoy the view. The porta potty here was surprisingly clean, and it didn't stink like most of them do.”
“Initially, I was not happy with Cornerstone Staffing because I had scheduled an interview and was stood up. I was frustrated because I am genuinely searching for employment and felt that behavior was unprofessional. I am not sure what happened. Ashley from Cornerstone reached out after that experience and made a point of contacting me and let me know she was sorry about the experience I had and that they are good about following up with job seekers. She has been very responsive and helpful to guide me through the process to get set up with Cornerstone Staffing and I feel she has gone above and beyond and I greatly appreciate her efforts. “The Bunny Burrow Rabbit Rescue is an AMAZING rescue!! They put so much thought and care to each and every bunny that comes through. I adopted my bunny, Winnie (formerly November), from them in May 2024. Almost a year and a half later and I still receive any support from them I need! They also have everything you could need for a bunny there. They have the best bunny toys in store at a low price. There’s grooming and boarding by knowledgeable bunny owners, Winnie was boarded there and I was never worried about how she was being cared for! I couldn’t recommend this rescue to anyone enough who is looking to adopt a rabbit or needs anything for their rabbits.”

VFW Post 9190, Established in 1962, is one of the better VFW's. I do wish that when you Google them, that the Google location data provided their hours when they open up the canteen and when they close said canteen. It might be listen on their website, but unfortunately I have yet to peruse that platform as of yet, and of course before I 5 stared them and placed this long winded paragraph for everyone and anyone to enjoy my plethora of rhetorical insightful blithering banter. Regardless, I plan to hang out there, in their canteen, today, the 7th of July, 2024. I just wished it was easier to find out their hours modus operandi schedules, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera ... ?

“Very thankful for the Keller Lions Club having this Flag Retirement Box so that we could properly dispose of an American flag that was tattered and left by the previous homeowners when we moved in. They also have an Eye Glasses & Hearing Aid collection box if anyone needs that too.”
“Nice place. Small indoor workout area, but the equipment is nicely maintained and up to date. There is an outdoor pool area, cold watch space, and an upstairs area for cycling.”
“I drive to this location for the amazing Zumba class with Liz G, currently on Friday, Sunday and every other Saturday. She is a wonderful dancer and instructor. I have done Zumba for many years and she is by far the best Zumba instructor I have ever taken a class with. She also teaches at the Ryan and Benbrook YMCA locations.”

“I'm writing this review after hearing about the DFW Writer's Workshop for nearly two years, but having just visited as a guest. (Guests can listen in on the sessions, but you do need to be a member to give feedback or share your work during the readings.) This is a welcoming, professional, and friendly group of writers. During the session I sat in on, I heard excerpts from fiction, a non-fiction work on the Vietnam war, and modern poetry from a young Black poet. The attendees are diverse in age, race, and ability level - I had a great time and am about to become a member.If you're used to professional writer's workshops (as opposed to informal groups like NaNoWriMo), you'll be right at home here. But if you become a member, do expect to receive honest, constructive critique from writers who want to help you. I got nothing of a "cliquish" vibe or any feeling of hostility from this group. I look forward to going back.”

“Let me tell you about this pantry – it’s a freaking game changer. For a guy like me, a disabled vet juggling the wild ride of borderline personality and the daily hustle to keep the fridge from looking like a ghost town, finding a place like this is like striking gold. It's not just about the grub; it's about the vibe. Walking into this place, I felt like someone hit the pause button on my world of worries. It was like they had a sign at the door saying 'Leave your shame and guilt here, buddy, you won't be needing those'. Losing over 100 lbs since this whole circus started, my backpack of shame and guilt was heavier than a lead singer's ego. But in this pantry, I felt lighter. For the first time in what feels like a gazillion years, I felt at home. These folks didn’t just hand me food; they handed me a slice of hope, wrapped in dignity, with a side of ‘you got this’. No pity stares, no condescending nods, just pure, unadulterated kindness. And for a guy who’s been through the wringer, that's like a breath of fresh air in a smog-filled city. So, hats off to this pantry. They're not just feeding bodies; they're feeding souls. And mine just got a Michelin-star meal.”

“My son had a great time at The Lone Star Leadership camp! I can't say enough about the people that run this camp they really helped me and my son during his stay. My son is a very picky eater and in the pictures they posted I noticed he wasn't eating very well so I contacted the director. They made sure to talk with my son to help him with with food choices and helped ease my concern. They also went above and beyond by getting him his own Cheese Pizza with no sauce for their pizza party even though they don't do special orders. They were so accommodating and understanding, I'm so very happy that my son went. He will definitely go to the next one in San Antonio! The only thing I am not very fond of is the fact that you have no contact with your kids even at least one time while they're there, but they do post lots of pictures to make sure that you can see the fun that they are having ( I had already handwritten notes to be delivered to him each day) on top of if any emergencies or any problems you can contact the camp director. This was a neat experience for my son and the fact that he was able to tour/ visit big events ( cattle drive, perot museum, john wayne museum, Dallas cowboys stadium....ect) learning about leadership and being a team all while taking in the sites of Dallas.”

“Highly recommend Coach Gaines. Two years ago he drove all the way from Dallas to Houston to meet our family because I was hesitant at first, not knowing him. We instantly knew he would be an asset to our sons future as an athlete. So much knowledge! He always picked up when I called, he always went above and beyond to answer my questions, he educated me so much on the recruiting process and how to talk to these coaches when we had visits at the house or calls with them. I was so ignorant coming into all of it but we ended up with a full ride academic and football all scholarship for our son at Arkansas Tech University and Coach Gaines was so instrumental in seeing us through the negotiations process. I learned a ton from him and he continues to go above and beyond for our family.”

“The ladies here were so helpful and kind. My daughter could try on as many dresses as she wanted. Wasn't rushed. After she found a dress they let her pick out a purse and makeup and jewelry. All was included in the student price of the dress. This place truly helped her to afford a magical prom.”
