Today, after a debacle with the delivery (set up through DoorDash by Home Depot), the delivery driver texted me and told me to cancel my order because it wouldn’t fit in his vehicle. I refused and told him to leave it at the store. I was already frustrated that Home Depot didn’t ensure a large enough vehicle was requested to pick up and deliver a very large, assembled (not in a box) 3-burner propane grill, as if any Dasher could pick it up and put it in their vehicle. Then I received untrue texts and emails from Home Depot, which only added to the confusion (really, Home Depot ?!?).
Despite being busy, Amy went above and beyond to coordinate everything so my son could come pick it up with his truck.
I hope someone who sees this recognizes Amy for who she is and what she does. I’ve interacted with her before in the store, and she is always absolutely wonderful!”
“A gentleman named William helped us cut a pvc pipe today and I thought he was the coolest and friendliest guy I have seen in a while. Another employee came by to help and he was nice as well but I don't know his name. People like this deserve great reviews!”
