“I don't usually have issues at this pharmacy, although I HAVE had a major issue ~1.5yrs ago with this particular location all of a sudden not allowing me to refill a controlled substance I had been filling HERE for 3 years straight. I know I wasn't the only victim of this because upon calling other pharmacies in the near vicinty, I was told they were flooded with requests for that medication & couldn't take on anymore new clients.”

I called to set a pickup for a prescription for my syringe needles and I was informed I did not have any prescriptions available being that it was a Sunday I couldn’t call my Doctor HOWEVER Andrew the pharmacist there accommodated me to help get me through the test of my day here!Thank you Andrew so much !!”

Produce was fresh. Nothing was reaching or at the expiration date. Nothing was damaged. Overall good experience.
Despite other reviews being misleading, the parking lot is chaotic because during TOURIST SEASON a lot of people shop here. (We appreciate all respectful tourist.) Also, when beach-goers decide to canvass the lot for a parking space rather than pay to park on the beach, it can be overwhelming because there’s less parking for actual patrons. It’s not meant for long term parking outside of shopping. This location DOES have cart corrals in the lot. They’re marked with red painted concrete. I believe they avoid the usual free standing ones for two reasons: 1.The parking lot is on a slope. 2. The wind. (Which is salty air that contributes to the rusting of the carts. This location could benefit from all plastic carts like “TarGhè”.) Also, if getting gas and the scanner isn’t reading the card, tap the ALT ID and type in whatever phone number is affiliated with your card, it’s really THAT SIMPLE.
I prefer shopping in store, this Kroger location’s staff are always friendly and still go adhere to the “AAA” approach. (Acknowledge, Assist, Appreciate!) If you ask for assistance and anyone walks away, they’re either going to get what you’ve asked for to bring it back to you or expecting you to follow them so they can show you where the item is.
Their prices/sales, digital deals, and fuel points system is definitely a plus!

“I honestly prefer this store over the CVS on 2425 avenue J simply because i'm not profiled against specifically by Manny Rodriguez and Rebecca Garcia. Please continue to do a good job at that. Remember just because someone doesn't make eye contact does not mean they are there to steal. It could be anxiety. Just because someone is constantly checking beside them doesn't mean they steal. They could be scanning their surroundings at all times because well this is the US after all. A backpack does not mean someone is there to steal... some of us use public transportation at times and well surely you all wouldn't expect us to hang the bags on our arms for 10 minutes-however long it takes to get home. Yes, shoplifters exist i'm sure in a town full of tourist. I've worked retail and saw it for myself and know it can be difficult to tell the difference between an anxious person and a shoplifter but it's never unacceptable to stress out the anxious person because you think they are a thief.”
“The pharmacy staff is amazing. Specifically Mr. Joseph I couldn't thank you enough. I know it's not alwayseasy talking about your medical problems, but if you let these guys know what's going on they will help a ton. Joseph was very busy today along with the other 2 young ladies there. He multitasked very well and was very communicative in letting me know what was going on and why. He helped me pick out about 8 products and thoroughly explained each of them to me. He was happy to answer all my questions while he worked diligently wether with me looking at products or behind their counter. I think every pharmacy needs a Mr. Joe God bless you sir couldn't thank you enough.”
