“While traveling through Gatesville, stopped at this store. Was in a hurry and the employee was so helpful. As I looked around the store had a completeness about it. VERY NICE Store.”

I was using a motorized cart and when I was wheeling up to the register, this bundle of energy , named Ashlynn I believe, came up and started unloading my basket. She then helped sack everything and all the while, she was making me laugh. She then offered to load my groceries into my car. She was such a breathe of fresh air and made me in a much happier mood, even though I was already in a good mood. I just wanted you to hear something positive instead of all negative comments. “Best grocer in Gatesville. It's my preferred Pharmacy also friendly folks . It is the only Pharmacy I use the specialty HEB Pharmacy in Austin ship's my Actemira Biologic injectables there to slow the progression of the incurable autoimmune disease called Rheumatoid Arthritis . Man that's some kinda hurt there and not a lot of Rheumatologist out there to address this disease had to go all way Rockdale find a doc get that stuff calmed down some was bad shape awhile with flair ups. Still as reliable an all around home town market well vested within the communities the folks at H.E.B. are a State wide chain but their individual stores are well visted within the individual communities wherein they're located employing the communities and donate regularly in community food and other regular annual efforts making them everybit an well loved member the communities with us our hometown & staunch supporters their customers in community based efforts to aid the less fortunate of our members or sorgerners visiting or passing through with us all ! ???”

“I am physically challenged and the aisles were clear and easy to maneuver through. Some items were not in reach, but the staff and managers were very courteous and considerate in assisting with my shopping. Very professional and friendly atmosphere.”

“I wanted to share my experience in reference to this gas station with an employee by the name of Michael. He was a kind hearted gentleman, always polite to the patrons and he’s always got something nice to say. I have stopped here multiple times during a recent move up to Brown County. I didn’t always need fuel or sundries, but I stopped here because of how I was treated. Michael actually bought me a cup of coffee after I’d offered to pay for the police officer’s purchase. Unfortunately the police officer had to leave due to a call, but that didn’t stop Mike from buying me that cup of coffee. He simply stated to me that he thought it was rare that people were supporting the police and that they needed to be supported and cherished. I found this perspective of this young man to be more than rare. When I am going through Gatesville on Highway 36 I will always be stopping here. The pumps are easily accessible especially with long trailers, the pumps are always clean, the windshield washers are full and the bathroom is clean. The muffins are fresh and the drinks are cold and you will be amazed at how nicely you are treated here at a gas station and that makes this review warranted.”
