“Brookshire Brothers in Hearne, Texas is the best. I eat from the deli almost daily. The food is fresh, hot and tasty. My favorite is the chicken tenders, greens, or JR’s tomato gumbo, cornbread and sweet tea. Keep up the outstanding cooking!”

“Cute little general store in Gause, really the only store in the area and a great place to chat with the old timers. I stopped 56 miles into my run to charge my phone, get a cup of hot coffee and a sausage egg biscuit, and hung out with all the friendly people there.”
