The people who shop for the groceries need training.
They can't pick Produce.
They dont pay attention to what variety they are picking out.
They dont know how to look at a pack of meat to tell its no good. If its brown looking its not good.”
“HEB....OMG they always pull me in with those yellow tags that I just can't resist. Especially the ones that are buy 2 of theses and get 4 or 5 things free. Amazing. I sent my father-in-law to get a ham around Thanksgiving. The kind HEB lady started putting all the free things in his basket a turkey, cookies, chips etc. He tells her no I'm not buying that. She tells him its free. He doesn't believe her and he makes her go to the check out with. He is Canadian so we must forgive him.

“Love this place. You can pretty much find anything in this shopping center. Just beware of all the people crossing the road to get to their cars after they're done shopping or barely going into the stores. Because these people will look at you like you done ran over their entire family and then they'll just stopped in the middle of the street and then turn to look at you and roll their eyes. ?? It's actually quite hilarious.. ?”
“The owners of employees are super friendly been going there for 3+ years and they've even started selling the Big Reeses Cups 2pack after I had asked him if he could get and sell cause there my favorite. And they stay stocked on everything.”

“Gas prices usually amoung best in BCS area outside of Sam's and Costco ❤️. Trashes get emptied and area is clean. Window wash stuff is hot or miss; squeegees not always available or have water/wash fluid.
1 star removed for carwash.
Biggest problem is that carwash. Not sure is same owner or not but it is horrible. Sometimes water or soap doesn't even come out and it'll wash your car nearly dry and leave all those tiny scratches. The drying cycle is not set long enough so you leave the wash with car still wet 20 to 30%...and with Texas heat all those water drops dry on your paint leaving water marks on your paint. So even though it's slightly cleaner than when you arrived (if the water and soap work that time) the spots still leave the car looking dirty.
I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt after the first time the bad stuff started happening because it's convenient and fast. Then it happened again, and again. By the 4th time I decided there was obviously a lack of maintenance on the wash and staff wasn't monitoring it's equipment, water or soap levels. So, I haven't been back to wash in a month as where I used to use it 2 times per week. Not sure what happened with it this summer ??♀️”
“Who doesn't love La Michoacana? Great place for all of our Mexican favorites. Their food court is good authentic and cheap making food. I go for the Mexican pottery and the pan dulce.”
“can find some nice clothes on the clearance racks. just make sure you check the tags. some of the same items may not have gotten marked down to the same price. make sure you watch the price screen at check out. some things may ring up cheaper than the clearance price. if it rings up cheaper that is what you're supposed to pay. if it rings up higher, they are supposed to adjust the price to match the sale price. unless the rules have changed and I missed seeing the new rules.”
“Wish it was bigger and had more things. It has the basics prob some other here and there, its not a supercenter for me since there’s no tire shop/oil change. And they do not offer big family packs; like pancake mix, jumbo stuff.
I do find it easy to find basic stuff. They always keep it so clean and employees are so helpful.
I could do a five star but like a said automotive is a must . I sometimes do not find my windshield rubber wiper replacements nor an emergency tire replacement here. We live in a country side so it would be a definite must.
I do acknowledge that I could do online shopping, yet sometimes it’s only available for delivery to my house which an urgent matter have to get else where.”

“I came by today to renew registration for a friend, Ne'ashia was incredibly polite and so very helpful, I then stop by to pick up something for dinner and Andreas was so very polite and helpful also! I know corporate definitely strives for excellence and Ne'asia and Andreas are most certainly in pursuit of the same! You're very lucky to have them Kroger! And because of these two employees I will continue to shop at the store! Way to go! Mike”
“I come here for 3 reasons for the friendship that I been made withrs Rene and Wendy and not just that for the friechicken and the tacos the Lady are so sweet they give you more if you fill like is not enough the store is always clean and they do a lot more things they do cash a check and lottery ticket and more don't forget about your fresh tacos every day of the week”

“Not sure why this HEB has such a low rating. It is big and has lots of produce. My first visit to this HEB at College Station was enjoyable. I also ended up buying Chinese food at a discount (the owner wanted to give away the leftover food before closing) at a restaurant inside the HEB. I am happy with this place. If I'm back to Texas A&M and need groceries (or cheap Chinese food)- I will be baaaack. Since Kaliko asked what h-e-b stands for : HEB's CEO was Howard Edward Butt who named the store after himself, hence HEB. The store's slogan is "Here Everything's Better", so many presume that this is what HEB stands for.”

“I shop a lot at Aldi's, the store has produce for those thatare on the budget and for those that dont. Overall they have great selection and sometimes big discounts. One thing you gotta be prepared for is to bring your own bags. And sometimes I just like going there because it's a small store and you can pick out unique things that you've never tried before because you can see and find them quicker.”
