The Houston Center for Contemporary Craft (HCCC) is a nonprofit arts organization founded to advance education about the process, product, and history of craft. HCCC's major emphasis is on objects of art made primarily from craft materials like clay, fiber, glass, metal, wood, or found/recycled materials. The center offers free admission and is a lovely place to meet contemporary artists and learn about their craft. Visitors can participate in hands-on activities and enjoy exhibits featuring work from local and foreign artists. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the center has easily accessible parking in the neighborhood. Reviewers highly recommend HCCC for its impressive exhibits, engaging workshops, and overall enjoyable experience.
small, but nice to see. i really liked the outdoor area.
free admission and parking. i had to direct to a nearby business to find the parking lot though since I'm not from the area and it was a little confusing to find.

Free admission. Lovely place to meet contemporary artists and learn about their craft. Señora Lorena Morales is the sweetest and lets me and my friends help her with her current project which is all about community.

Interesting craft exhibits; saw some beautiful handcrafted pieces. It’s small and somewhat tucked away, so might be easy to miss. Staff was friendly.
