About Avis Car Rental
Avis Car Rental Houston provides generally friendly and helpful customer service, with representatives described as great, seamless, and enjoyable. The location offers a wide variety of vehicles to choose from. However, several significant issues are noted. Customers report vehicles arriving with pet hair or a strong smoke smell, indicating a need for better cleaning standards. There are also concerns about pricing transparency, including unexpected mileage limits with extra charges and rate inconsistencies between locations that can make rentals unaffordable. While the pickup and drop-off process can be fast and flawless, these recurring problems with vehicle cleanliness and cost clarity create inconvenience for some renters.
