Bailey's House of Guns is a well-regarded outdoor gun range and store located in the Houston area. Visitors often appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, including range officers who are knowledgeable and willing to assist with check-in, safety rules, and shooting tips. The range is mostly outdoors, offering better ventilation and a quieter experience compared to indoor ranges, making it a comfortable place for shooters to enjoy their time. The facility is not very crowded, providing a relaxed environment that feels like a local hometown range.
The pro shop is well-stocked, and customers have praised the staff for their excellent service and assistance with firearm purchases and accessories. Many visitors have successfully used services like bore sighting for their scopes, often with quick and effective results. The range offers options for different target distances, and safety rules are clearly explained, with procedures such as cease fires and firearms handling being strictly followed.
While the range is generally in good condition, some mention that it may be a bit run down and older. A minor limitation noted is the restriction of only one round in rifles at a time due to proximity to the highway. Overall, Bailey's House of Guns provides a friendly, safe, and enjoyable shooting environment for both beginners and experienced shooters.
Good outdoor range. Busy on weekends but great if you can during daily business hours.

My friend and I have been here dozens of times. I really like the old school, family owned feel of the place. I'm not a fan of the extra charge for bringing more than one gun, but I usually only want to bring one anyway, so it doesn't really affect me.
