intreaguing material, especially the traditional outfits i found pleasant.however ones a bit inaccurate, there wasnt much communism in soviet times as the exhibits say as thatd be moneyless and stateless, sadly it turned into a puppet state dictatorship in czechia that didnt have much to do with leftism and its ideals.

Great cultural museum and very friendly staff. Current exhibit on lace will be fascinating to anyone who crochets or does tatting. Not a huge museum, but covers a lot of history, especially of Czechs in Texas and of Terezín. Very affordable admission. Oh and they have Czech candies in the gift shop!
The Czech Center Museum Houston provides unique educational experiences based on authentic objects, art, music, stories, and lives of Czechs, Slovaks and people of all cultures who left their country to seek liberty and democracy in America.
Our purpose is to inspire people to learn from those who sought freedom despite oppressive rulers and systems. The museum strives to be an accessible resource, actively encouraging the study, appreciation, understanding, and enjoyment of diverse cultures and traditions. We promote art, music, and dance as well as celebrate history and stories of immigrant experiences shared by Americans.
