Hours: DG Market Houston is a convenient neighborhood store offering a wide variety of essentials at low prices. Customers can find fresh meat, produce, and everyday grocery items, including alcohol and tobacco. The store is known for its affordable prices on health and beauty care, cleaning supplies, snacks, and meal solutions, making it a helpful spot for quick shopping needs. Many frequent shoppers appreciate the store’s location, as it is close by and offers a good selection of household items, with a special section for $1 items. The store has a friendly, chill vibe, and the staff are often recognized by regular customers. Some customers enjoy the variety of products available, including fresh fruit, vegetables, and quality meats, which are sometimes hard to find at larger stores. It is described as a mini grocery store that provides convenience and good quality products, making it a neighborhood blessing. However, there are some issues noted by customers. Online delivery has been problematic, with items often unavailable after payment is taken, leading to delays in refunds. Customer service experiences vary, with some concerns about staff behavior, including an incident where a new employee followed and took pictures of a customer’s child, leading to complaints and requests for management contact. Despite these concerns, DG Market remains a popular, accessible store for everyday shopping needs.
