About Hertz Car Rental - Houston - William P Hobby Airport (HOU)
Hertz Car Rental at Houston Hobby Airport provides a mixed experience for customers. The pickup process is often described as a breeze, fast, and easy, with names ready on a board. Many report receiving vehicles in great, clean, and very spacious condition, leading to a comfortable drive. Staff members are frequently noted as very nice and helpful, answering questions and explaining processes easily.
However, significant issues are commonly reported. Customers often find numerous scratches and damage on vehicles at pickup, with exit agents showing little concern. The return process can be a nightmare, as the location lacks 24-hour return service, a lot attendant, and a shuttle to the airport for early flights. The facility is poorly signed, making departure confusing, and some staff behavior is unprofessional. While many have a great experience with efficient service, others encounter serious problems with vehicle condition and operational shortcomings.

Houston Hobby airport Hertz was such an easy station to work with. From the bus to my car and off site was between 3-5 minutes

For clarity of early dropoffs the gates to leave the car open at 3:30/4am and shuttle bus runs, it’s simply the front desk that doesnt open until 7am.
