“Haven's Inn is the best motel i have stayed in Houston Tx they have continental breakfast the staff is so polite and the rooms are big nice and clean they have washer and dryer that we can use and if you just the type person that loves to keep to yourself its perfect my favorite part is the Texas shape waffle maker in the mornings.”

“I have been coming to Houston for years on business, and it is regrettable that I am only now discovering The Whitehall Houston. This is a fantastic establishment, through and through—from beginning to end, and even beyond. From the moment I checked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and delightful conversation. I am especially thankful for the front desk team—Shirley, John, Ana Maria, and Kelvin—who made sure I was settled into a wonderful, spacious room and handled all of my needs throughout my entire stay with utmost care.

I was in Houston on business and had many Amazon packages arriving during my stay. The team made sure to notify me promptly and took great care to ensure everything reached me in a timely manner. Even with a return package that needed to make its way back to Amazon after my departure, they were fully committed to helping. All of my business needs were addressed—from printing and signing legal agreements to faxing them as well. This level of service is truly over the top.

The entire staff was friendly and incredibly helpful, offering recommendations for navigating downtown Houston, and their team even served as personal chauffeurs using the hotel car. And let’s not forget the on-property restaurant, Edgars. The food is fresh, delicious, and inventive—a thoughtful fusion of Texan, Mexican, and Southern comfort flavors—paired with care and attention given to every beverage they offer.

This is a wonderful place to stay, and I plan to stay here again whenever I am in Houston!”

“I honestly do not know how this place doesn’t have a 5 star rating. They are amazing and go above and beyond to make the experience the best it can be. The beds are comfortable, the staff are amazing, the restaurant is top notch and then it’s steps away to your MD Anderson appointments. It’s the best and I never want to have to stay anywhere else.”

“My family and I stayed here for a few days and had an amazing experience from start to finish! From the moment our car door was opened and we were offered water before check-in, to the chocolates on our pillows (sometimes more than once a day!), every detail made us feel like royalty.

Dinner was just as impressive. Gonzo, Eric, and Chelsey were amazing! I'll be requesting them EVERY time! At one point, Gonzo even removed seafood from a dish after overhearing (without us realizing) that one of us didn't eat it. That level of care and attention to detail is award-worthy.

And a big thank you to Ronny for serving the best carrot cake I've ever had, and I'm a carrot cake connoisseur! Joann and Jas, thank you for overseeing such a smooth and memorable evening.

“First stay and I was definitely a fan. We stayed at the JW Marriott in Houston and I'd choose this one over that one. The charges for every little thing were annoying (high required valet cost, amenity fee, credit card fee, excessive room service fees and costs, $2 for a whiskey ice cube) but all nicer hotels are like that so it's not like they're doing something out of the norm. But great atmosphere, no unpleasant or odd smells, really nice room, the butterfly headboards made it for me! Love that there's room service and a mini bar, would like to see some more room service menu options, and maybe some more upscale room service menu options to match the overall vibe and cost of the place. Would give it another go for sure!”

“Hands down one of the best guest service experiences we have ever had. Charmaine at the front desk is exceptional. From the moment we called in when we arrived at the airport, to check in & throughout our stay, she made us feel welcomed, valued & taken care of. As frequent travelers, we notice great service when we see it, and Charmaine truly stands out.

Our teenage girls even mentioned how friendly she was, which is rare praise coming from teens. She goes above and beyond for guests, and how we were treated, confirmed we made the right choice staying here.

The airport shuttle was a huge plus, and the driver was super friendly. The hotel was clean & the beds were comfortable. Staying here & Ubering to the cruise port was a smarter option than paying premium prices to stay in Galveston. Highly recommend this hotel!”

“My experience at The Post Oak Hotel was unforgettable. The venue itself is absolutely stunning - elegant, meticulously maintained, and visually luxurious. It’s easy to see why it’s one of Houston’s most sought-after locations for upscale events.

From a logistics perspective, the space was well-organized and accommodating. Security and on-site staff were professional and attentive, and the clientele was upscale and respectful.

Whether you’re staying for the night or dropping by for a lovely cup of coffee at their cafe or to browse their high-end boutique, The Post Oak always delivers.”

“This wasn't a place on our radar. Since our original stay was canceled last minute we decided to book this stay. Room looked brand new amd clean. Area around the hotel was clean amd looked nice. Service was super. Front desk service was excellent. Everybody was always ready to help and make our stay pleasant. Specially Kuma. Always going extra mile.”

They have a security guard on duty at night&he keeps people out of the parking lot that doesn’t belong there&watches over things out there. ? He was awesome and friendly to speak with as well. “Service has been great. Coming into the building, a gentleman helped me up the escalators with my luggage. Check in was easy. Service at the Flights restaurant was great (special shout-out to Hector and Rebecca for being so warm and helpful).

Speaking of the restaurant, there is only one restaurant in the hotel. They have a buffet in the morning. For lunch, if you need something fast with protein to hold you over, I recommend the chicken and cheese quesadilla. For dinner, I enjoyed the smothered chicken (chicken in mushroom sauce with mashed potatoes and broccolini).

I stayed in a king standard room in the north tower. It was very spacious and clean. The bed was a little firm, but still comfortable. There are only 40 channels, but you can log into YouTube or Netflix for additional streaming content.

Parking on-site is around ~$30 per day.

I would recommend a stay here.”

“My family stayed here for a wedding and we loved it. Great location downtown. It is located in a business district so it was actually pretty quiet and laid-back on the weekend. We played with our young daughter in the open courtyards around the hotel and walked to the public library when we had some time off. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Mel was great. She would check in on our daughter and ask her about how being a flower girl in the wedding was going. She gave her bubbles to play with and really made her feel welcomed. We would definitely stay again.”

“Great hotel with central location in SW Houston right on I-610, with free breakfast for all guests, closed multi-story parking and full-sized bar at the lobby area, alongside a reasonable market for quick bites & drinks. Walking distance to Galleria Mall, as well as nearby shops like CVS, Marshall’s & target.

Reception staff is efficient however couldn’t say the same about bar staff.”

“A quietly luxurious and stylish stay that exceeded all of my high expectations. All of the details were spot on, like their attention to detail with lighting, furniture, color, and landscaping. The products that were provided were superb, the staff were incredible and the food at Perseid was as good as it gets.

I can’t think of a better value than this hotel anywhere. You get to experience curated spaces, high architecture, comfortable rooms, and you can walk to one of the best art museums in the country next door.”

I had a great stay at ABVI America’s Best Value Inn – Medical Center, located at 2419 Riverside Dr, Houston, USA, conveniently near the H-E-B store.
The staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout my stay. Check-in was smooth, and I always felt comfortable and safe on the property.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained, with housekeeping doing an excellent job daily. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was simple, organized, and served in a clean area — a nice way to start the day.
The location is very convenient for the Medical Center, with easy access to nearby stores and restaurants. Overall, this is a clean, comfortable, and well-managed hotel with great service.
I highly recommend ABVI America’s Best Value Inn – Medical Center and would happily stay here again.”

“They really did an amazing job with the renovation from the previous hotel. The vibe in here is fun and swanky and every detail is perfect. The room was great and had a cute little balcony. Every drink or meal I had in the hotel was good too. My only issue was when the power went out and we had to take our luggage down the stairs!”

“I would describe this hotel as a true hidden gem. From the moment my sister and I stepped into the Aspen Grand Hotel, our experience was nothing short of delightful. The front desk staff—every single one of them—were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. Each time we returned from a long day of work, we were greeted with warm smiles and a genuine hello, which truly made us feel at home.
In addition to the outstanding customer service, the room was exceptionally clean and beautifully designed. The hotel also offers a hot breakfast with a wide variety of options, which was a wonderful bonus.
If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway away from the noise, the Aspen Grand Hotel is the perfect place. The pricing is very reasonable, especially considering the level of service and the artistic beauty of the rooms. Honestly, the experience felt like it was worth much more.

The morning front desk Melanie is super friendly making you feel welcomed. The beds are very comfortable with super clean rooms. The General Manager Vic is terrific. “Stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Houston Memorial City property on a visit to the Texas Medical Center in March 2025. The location was convenient to local restaurants and shopping, and about 30 min to the Texas Medical Center which was acceptable for me. I liked that the rooms face either East or West so that none face the freeway on the south side of the hotel. This hotel has a bar with food offerings which I found convenient. It appears to be a newer property with pleasant decor and lighting and more open public spaces and hallways. The property has 2 elevators for guests!
The room was pleasant with efficient use of space for a traveler staying one or a few days. The windows has drapes on the sides and pulldown shade which does not interfere with the air flow from the A/C. The bed was super comfortable! The desk was large enough for working with a laptop and external screen, I would have liked an adjustable height office chair, but the seating provided was adequate. The bathroom was well planned with a shower having a glass door that when open does not impede access to the shower or toilet. Overall the room was clean and functional and I will likely stay here again on a future visit to the area.”
