“This is the best motel I have stayed in my whole life. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. The amenities and the room are very clean. They give you free snack, water and the room comes with fridge and microwave. It’s the cleanest motel room I have seen ever. I feel safe in this place and the room has lock to keep you safe. It comes with good breakfast. And to for the price, it is very affordable!!! Everything is worth it.

“My stay at Americas Best Value Platinum Inn & Suites was wonderful! The room was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities I needed. The staff was friendly and attentive, always available to help with any questions I had. The location was convenient and close to local attractions, which made exploring easy. “My family and I stayed here for a few days and had an amazing experience from start to finish! From the moment our car door was opened and we were offered water before check-in, to the chocolates on our pillows (sometimes more than once a day!), every detail made us feel like royalty.

I work in hospitality, so my standards are high, sometimes unreasonably so, and this stay exceeded every expectation! I know how important reviews are in this industry, and how thankless the work can be, so I want to give a huge shoutout to the incredible team that made our visit more than special.

From the pulled-out chairs to the table-side coat rack to the unforgettable French toast, everything was top-notch!

Dinner was just as impressive. Gonzo, Eric, and Chelsey were amazing! I'll be requesting them EVERY time! At one point, Gonzo even removed seafood from a dish after overhearing (without us realizing) that one of us didn't eat it. That level of care and attention to detail is award-worthy.

And a big thank you to Ronny for serving the best carrot cake I've ever had, and I'm a carrot cake connoisseur! Joann and Jas, thank you for overseeing such a smooth and memorable evening.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming staff, who were always smiling and eager to assist with anything I needed. Their genuine friendliness made my stay even more enjoyable.

The hotel itself is conveniently located, making it easy to make my appointments at MD Anderson. Whether I needed recommendations for local attractions or assistance with transportation, the staff was always ready to help with invaluable tips and advice. The shuttle is a very nice addition to my stay.

“My colleagues and I visited Houston for a 5 day training. We originally booked hotel rooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Houston by the Galleria (see my review). We were extremely disappointed with the Double Tree and drove over to The Whitehall immediately after reading their reviews in hopes they would have availability. John at the front desk saw the despair in our eyes and came to our rescue with five rooms with double beds for us. John was professional and extremely friendly. Throughout our stay, he remember us and greeted us with a wave and a smile. He continually checked in with us to make sure we were satisfied. Jose and James, employees at the restaurants located in the hotel were amazing! James was kind, energetic, efficient, and remembered all of our names! Jose was courteous, fun to engage with, and made amazing drinks. The food at Edgar’s Herman’s was well prepared and delicious. Our rooms were cleaned with care and all staff members we meet were always smiling. The staff made us feel like we were VIP guests. The hotel is a six minute walk from a variety of restaurants on Grey Street, a 15 minute walk from the aquarium and the Post Market Food Hall. It is easily accessible to major highways which made it really easy to get to.This hotel is not the most updated. You wont see fancy appliances or shiny fixtures in your room but staying at the Whitehall was a great experience! I promise you cannot go wrong with choosing this hotel.

Food and drinks: The food at Edgar’s Herman’s was well prepared and delicious!!”

“Definitely a five star hotel but there is no ice in the building you have to order it and it takes an hour to get to your door ??‍♀️ the service is amazing though everyone is so friendly! Amenities beautiful! Restaurants amazing! Because it is a five-star hotel the fridge is already full of alcohol and treats so you can’t really bring your own stuff there. All the staff are so nice! Even the people at the door will chat with you they are so friendly!”

“I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel ZaZa Memorial City the night of my wedding, and it was nothing short of amazing! Upon arrival, we were delighted to find out that we had been upgraded to the Breathless Corner Suite on the highest floor—what a fantastic surprise! The room was gorgeous, with stunning views, a super comfortable bed, and an amazing shower that we didn’t want to leave.

A special shoutout to our butler, Walter, who made our stay even more memorable. He was incredibly friendly and attentive, bringing us a thoughtful cheese and fruit platter along with chocolate-dipped strawberries—a perfect treat to celebrate our special day.

The only small downside was the valet parking, which costs $46 per night. It seems to be the only option since nearby parking decks don’t allow hotel parking. That said, the valet service was efficient, and the overall experience more than made up for it.

If you’re looking for a luxurious and romantic stay, especially for a special occasion, I can’t recommend Hotel ZaZa Memorial City enough! We’ll definitely be back.”

They have a security guard on duty at night&he keeps people out of the parking lot that doesn’t belong there&watches over things out there. ? He was awesome and friendly to speak with as well. I would DEFINITELY stay here again if in the area and I would highly recommend it to anyone else that’s staying in the area. ❤️❤️

“We stayed here since we had a very early flight out the next morning. Great location. Took the tram from the terminal after dropping off the car rental. Our room was typical. Clean and great bed. Everything worked in the room. Staff we interacted with was professional and friendly. Our room had a great view of the tarmac. The restaurant / bar was a good place to unwind after a hectic day. Will definitely stay here again when we are back in the area.”

“My family stayed here for a wedding and we loved it. Great location downtown. It is located in a business district so it was actually pretty quiet and laid-back on the weekend. We played with our young daughter in the open courtyards around the hotel and walked to the public library when we had some time off. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Mel was great. She would check in on our daughter and ask her about how being a flower girl in the wedding was going. She gave her bubbles to play with and really made her feel welcomed. We would definitely stay again.”

“Nice place to relax and it is 95.00 for the whole night or u can pay hourly. It has a kitchen and microwave and refrigerator to store food. You will have to bring your pots and pans. Also have a kitchen sink.”

“A quietly luxurious and stylish stay that exceeded all of my high expectations. All of the details were spot on, like their attention to detail with lighting, furniture, color, and landscaping. The products that were provided were superb, the staff were incredible and the food at Perseid was as good as it gets.

I can’t think of a better value than this hotel anywhere. You get to experience curated spaces, high architecture, comfortable rooms, and you can walk to one of the best art museums in the country next door.”

I ended up getting sick on my vacation here from a restaurant outside of town and all I could keep down was Ramen noodles lol, and we asked if they could make them for us because we didn’t have a microwave and they ended up bringing one up to our room! Seriously, the sweetest people ever! ?”

“Our stay here was so peaceful. We wanted to getaway and relax and The St. Regis Houston was the perfect place for us. Since we arrived after dark, we had a bit of trouble finding the main entrance. I called the hotel and Amanda explained that there was some minor construction going on. She directed us to the temporary main entrance and apologized for the inconvenience. Two minutes later we arrived and were greeted by the friendly valet service. Upon approaching the front desk, Amanda recognized us and welcomed us by name. She definitely set the standard for the rest of our 2-night stay and we were never disappointed. Every staff member from the valet, front desk host, dining team, housekeepers and engineer did their part to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Thank you. ?
FYI- Amanda deserves a promotion and an enormous raise. ??

“This was our second time staying at this Comfort Suites on our way to the airport the next day. Clean and comfortable bed and pillows, powerful shower, friendly service. Breakfast was available, which was nice, but forgettable. It's a bit tricky getting to the hotel parking lot from the Beltway - you have to backtrack through a few other business parking lots to get there. But we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Good value!”

“They really did an amazing job with the renovation from the previous hotel. The vibe in here is fun and swanky and every detail is perfect. The room was great and had a cute little balcony. Every drink or meal I had in the hotel was good too. My only issue was when the power went out and we had to take our luggage down the stairs!”

“I recently stayed at the Magnolia Hotel Houston, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel is beautifully designed, with an interesting circular lobby layout and a welcoming breakfast area on the second floor. The gym on the 23rd floor, complete with a rooftop pool, was a fantastic addition.

My room was spacious and had a luxurious extended-stay feel. While the millwork could have been a bit more upscale to match the overall vibe, I appreciated the kitchenette and the hotel's beautiful historical renovation.

The hotel offered convenient parking options, including valet parking. Although there's no lounge on the property, there are plenty of places to sit and work, as well as various dining options.

Overall, I had a wonderful stay at the Magnolia Hotel Houston and would highly recommend it.”

“I stayed at the Blossom Hotel Houston Oct. 11th-13th. When you first drive up the valet team was quick to assist me with bags, etc. The staff was so amazing and welcoming. Probably the best customer service I’ve experienced at any hotel. I wish I remembered her name at the front desk. She was so professional and answered any and every question I had. The room was spacious and clean. The staff all over was just friendly and welcoming. I’ll be staying there again on my next trip.”
