“I want to give a special shout out to the employee we just met with, Juan. We traveled from League City all the way here with the express intent to purely sit in a few Steelcase chairs we’d heavily researched and already had in mind. We had a good idea of what we wanted, but feel it’s critical to actually TRY before you commit to such an important purchase. Ultimately it was going to come down to the Leap V2, the Gesture, or the Karman.
Unfortunately the Google listing for the Steelcase dealer shows them as closing on Fridays at 5 PM, whereas McCoys Google listing posts the correct time. We showed up bit after closing unintentionally, after driving an hour. We were informed they had already closed, which was a huge blow to the entire day’s plans. Thankfully, Juan was kind enough to allow us to hang around and allow us to sit in all of the Steelcase chairs that had arranged nearby, for which we are tremendously thankful. It was exactly what we needed to eliminate contenders and narrow it down to two choices (for us it’ll be either the Leap V2 or Gesture).
Juan was friendly, informative, and is the kind of employee who actually knows the product he’s selling and can answer anything you throw at him.
We really appreciate him taking the extra time to salvage our day due to a totally unforeseen mistake. Highly recommend asking for him if you stop by!”
