You don’t really see chain pet stores giving out free samples like that! The older lady at the counter was also very sweet :)

I was able to check in on her via live cameras all day, which was comforting and fun to see. They also sent more than 20 photos of her after the visit and a couple of super cute videos. She even got to swim! Everything was very clean and professional.

They have the best prices I have experienced (very reasonable), have online booking, rewards system, and text updates when the pup is ready. The can do standard cuts or the Asian hand scissor style which is really cute. The groom includes teeth brush, ear pluck, anal gland expression, nail trim and grind, and a handsome bow tie. My pup is always done quickly and well and he doesn’t seem stressed after. Workers are nice. Would highly recommend!

2990 Richmond Ave suite 620, HoustonShelby is the BEST!!! My dog Ollie has serious resource guarding issues (specifically with food) and reactivity toward other dogs in public places. I reached out to Beyond the Dog after an especially scary incident between Ollie and the other dog in my home. Shelby helped me understand the signs of resource guarding, how to mitigate the chance of altercations occurring, and also did training/obedience techniques with Ollie that has made him so much more manageable at home. Ollie is also a “velcro dog” with separation anxiety, so it’s been tough to find someone that Ollie trusts and is comfortable with. Shelby was so patient with Ollie and I was so impressed to see how quickly Ollie took to her and he actually looks forward to their sessions! Shelby has also helped address his reactivity in public places. Before, he would pull on his leash on walks and would bark at almost every dog we saw on the street. Ollie now walks right next to me on walks and doesn’t bark or pull when he sees other dogs. I can’t recommend beyond the dog and Shelby enough!

It has been so hard we have had her since the moment she came into this world until the moment she left it in my arms. The day she died I was recommended this cremation services. I called barely able to speak through my tears and Amy was so kind answering all my questions. The next day I took her and Harrison was so kind and patient with me through my tears and grief. I called everyday to check on her until she was ready and Harrison was again so kind and patient with me despite I had been forgetful at times because of my grief but that never affected the way he treated me and kept me updated on her. I highly recommend these services it's affordable and they will go beyond expectations to assist you through your loss. I will always be forever grateful my sweet Ariel and I were treated so carefully with kindness. Thank you Amy and Harrison ?❤️?

Millie Bush Dog Park
16101 Westheimer Rd, HoustonVery nice large dog park that offers two separate watering ponds for dogs to swim in on the large dog side also has an area for small dogs. Very large open space. Nice pathways and has ample trails and shade for patrons. However if your dog is afraid of deeper water they might not get into these ponds. Normally we go to Johnny Steele downtown but we were in the area and I always enjoy taking my Giant Schnauzer out for a run.

11614 Dumas St, HoustonIt turned out to be a fortuitous experience finding Mr. Platt. I can't overstate how great he is. He also took me on short notice very promptly, even that Sunday is his day off. Very kind, genuine, warm person. He and someone working for him each drove from very far to both pick up my cat and to return her. I was very happy with the pretty wooden box with the lock on it and the card too. I wasn't dressed very well when he brought her back to me, so I was brief and regretted not spending more time on my thank yous. He's just wonderful, and is remarkable in his business.

Houston Humane Society Animal Wellness Clinic
14810 Almeda Rd, HoustonI took my dog in for the removal of a mass. They did a great job. It’s super busy but they try to accommodate you. I saw Dr Vaughn and she was really a great vet. My dog is a little difficult because she doesn’t like being touched by certain people and becomes defensive. Dr Vaughn with Michael’s help were always so patient and I am really grateful they treated Ruby with care. I recommend them, but also be patient. The clinic sees a high volume of animals and it’s not just in and out as it would be at your private vet. I absolutely recommend. I also want to give kudos to Dr Malone who did Rubys first surgery, the sutures were impeccably done.
I am personally a fan of the humane society vet clinic.

Donna's brother flew with the puppy from Texas to Seattle. He was very kind and took fantastic care of the baby. I was terrified to buy a puppy from some one I have not meet face to face and to have the baby flown from Texas to Seattle but Donna and her brother made it easy and worry free. I would highly recommend this breeder. Donna is fantastic and her babies are amazing.

Plenty of space, kept pretty clean and there are garbage cans throughout. Owners seem to be attentive when we were there. Fun splash pool is so cute.

The two amazing ladies there are very nice. They showed us the cats and let us spend time with the kittens we were interested in. Not only did we adopt one cat but we adopted three. They are amazing cats, very well taken care of and very well trained. My kids and I are very happy with the three and the kittens have adjusted wonderfully and love us very much!!
